Fencing Service
He did the job. Apparently he didn't apply the stain correctly and some of the boards ended up darker than others. He offered to strip and restain and I even spoke with the manufacturer of the stain to make sure that was recommended. We then talked about a weekend for him to come back and strip/restain but he never showed and we rescheduled a couple of times but he never actually started the rework. I got a call from him recently and he wanted me to pay the remainder of the invoice. I tried to talked to him about doing what we agreed he would do and he immediately said he was proceeding with putting a lien against my house for the remainder of the invoice then hung up. If he would have talked to me he would heard that I was willing to settle on an amount with him instead of him having to pay for the labor and materials to redo what he didn't do correctly the first time.
