X-Trem Fence

Chad was to start the project on July 24 and be finished Aug. 1, 2011. He said he needed money up front to buy materials $7,500 to start then a $4,000 draw half way thru then $4,000 at finish. We paid the start money and then waited and waited for him to start. He never answered his phone or returned our calls. After we threatened to sue him, They came and installed our fence and put in the slab for the building. The work was good. He then wanted a draw of $4,000. We were hesitate but really needed the work to be finished so we paid him another $4,000. It is now Sept 21st and we still don't have a finished building the walls are up and holes for the windows but no roof or doors or windows. We are now being told that another customer wrote him a bad check, and now he doesn't have enough money to finish our building because he used some of our money to buy material for another job. He wants us to buy the roofing material so he can put up the roof, another $1600, we are still inside our estimate and it looks like this is the only way we are going to get our building done. It is now Sept 24th. we have a roof but still no doors or windows. The building is done Oct.15th. 2 1/2 months past due. The work was excellent but it was like pulling teeth to get them to finish it. Final price $15,000.00 I will never use this contractor again
