FROST AIR HEATING & COOLING

We were staying at a cabin way out in the middle of truly nowhere outside Brownwood and the AC was not working. The temperature outside was 99, felt like it was 110, with all windows open and all ceiling fans on we could only get the temperature inside the cabin down to 91. Our cell phones dont work at the cabin and we dont have a current phone book. We drove into Brownwood to find a repairman. We found Frost Air in the phone book with a modest ad stating many years of service. We called the number listed under AC repair and got no answer. Looked at the other listing in the phone book and Curtis answered on the first ring. Turns out the other number listed has not been used by Frost Air for MANY years yet the phone company continues to publish the wrong number.
 Described the symptoms of our AC unit and Curtis said he would meet us there now. This was a Saturday afternoon approaching 5pm!!! Curtis actually beat us back to the cabin and waited for us. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem (relay full of fire ants), replaced the bad part, sprayed a chemical deterrent for future ants and tested the system. Viola! cooling. The cost of the part, driving out into the middle of nowhere on a Saturday evening and repairing our AC unit I thought the cost was very fair. Curtis and Frost Air DEFINITELY go on our first guy to call with any future AC problems for a no hassle repair.
