General Remodeling
Arial requested $4000 up front, $3000 at end of first week of work, which turned out to be about the only week of work. Then Arial said he really needed more money to finish the job, and I foolishly gave him an additional $1800. When city inspectors said work would not pass code, Arial, his crew, and my money disappeared, leaving me with one completely gutted bathroom and one that only partially worked - flushed but no lavatory or tub. Police, sheriff's office, county and district attorneys, and parole office are all now involved.
