CHAMPION RESTORATION

My home had water coming up from the floorboards. I couldn't believe how quickly Chris Hollingsworth, along with Nathan and Joey, showed up at my home on a Sunday afternoon to assess the damage. I stopped worrying once I saw them in action as they were so thorough and informative. My plumber (also my neighbor) arrived and he confirmed Champion's assessment about the cause and subsequent damage that went undetected for a long while. I am about to go through the repair process and I told my insurance agent I have complete confidence in Champions restoring my home. They were polite, professional and informative throughout the entire process and I trust them to handle the repairs after watching them handle the initial flood. You can tell a lot about a company by how well they select their teams to represent them. They care about their customers and will go above and beyond to take the stress from you when you need help.

This project went very well and we have nothing negative to say about this company. They came when they said they would, listened patiently to our concerns, worked efficiently and professionally, and left us with beautiful flooring, paint and trim work. This company was a "turnkey" insurance recommended company and we're so glad we didn't attempt to take care of these repairs independently.

Two man crew (Cody and Elliot) came out and gave us an estimate the morning after the roof repairs were completed. We agree to the price and they returned later that day you cut out some sheet rock and remove the bathroom flooring. They set up large fans upstairs and downstairs and two dehumidifiers. Cody did a thorough job of explaining what we needed to do over the three days the equipment was there to help the drying out process. Three days later they came and checked for moisture and took the equipment. All that is left is the repairs. Champion will handle the repairs however we chose to do them ourselves.

Water damage on hardwood floor in master bedroom.  Water extracted by removing baseboards along wall and drying the wood floor over the course of 4-5 days with fans.  Instructed to run fan in room and allow wood to "settle" over the course of 6-9 months.  After wood returned to normal, Champions Restoration not responsive to replacing the baseboards around the wood floor in the master bedroom.

Website advertises they "handle all aspects of returning your property back to pre-loss condition".  They also go on to say on website "Most companies will not handle from start to finish but we do..." 

I have called repeatedly for Champions to finish the job with no response.  Finally, almost a year later, the secretary answering company phone suggested I get a handyman to finish the project because it would be cheaper and would be faster than getting Champion Restoration out to my house to finish the job.

They were a little slow to set-up the painting and the painter that did the job was great. They did a very good job with the cleanup and did not leave any mess. They sent one person out to do the painting.

The water removal was absolutely an “A." The response was great. They were able to set up the same day that I called and got the garage dried out over several days.

We had a large water leak and the plumbing company recommended Champion for the water remediation. They also happened to be a preferred vendor for our home insurer. That last point was key since the insurance claim was a major one. They showed up the next day to place a number of fans, air filters, and dehumidifiers to address the water damage. Once that was done, they ripped up all the hard wood floors downstairs. After that, they repaired the water damaged drywall, and we had them repaint the downstairs while we were at it. Finally, they laid the new hard wood floors.
I'm happy to say that the work was top notch and there's no evidence that there was any damage in the first place. Just as important, they worked directly with the insurance adjuster to make the whole process as headache free as possible. We owed them the deductible and an additional amount for the painting that wasn't included in the insurance claim. They provided a detailed estimate of the work, which was great in order to see exactly what was being done and charged for.

They're good. They came out very quickly to handle things. They were very professional and nice guys. The price was competitive. Some neighbors had the same thing happen, mine went better and in the same price range.

They were on time and made me feel like a priority. I really appreciated that they were thorough in answering all my questions.

I can't say enough about how great Glenn and all the guys who work with him are. They are professional, honest, and reliable. I trusted these guys to put a lock box on my front door with the key and they could come and do the work while I was gone working. They always come on time, do their work, and leave everything cleaned up. They are awesome! :-) Loving the new shower.

We used them a number of years ago at our old house (see a previous review on here) and they did a great job there too.

I would highly recommend Champion Restoration.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional, came on time, worked quickly, and were skilled in what they did. The workers were obviously well trained. They were excellent in every way except the manager himself had a very poor attitude. The workers were very good.

Very professional and fast. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We even had a timing issue on our payment that caused the bank to bounce a check to them.. They where very nice and understandable about the situation and never rude.

My son flooded our bathroom and it damaged some of the sheetrock/trim and totally soaked our carpet in the adjacent bedroom. I had a great experience with Champion Restoration. They made sure all the water got out, were able to save the sheetrock by drying it correctly, replaced all the trim/parts of vanity and replaced carpet pad and saved our carpet. The workers were polite, cleaned up after themselves, and were on time. We've moved houses and I just called them again to help with water damage after a leak (they are able to determine if there is water behind the walls without opening them up). They work hard to dry out and re-use as much existing material as they can to help save money on replacement/repairs. Family owned business. High bidder even after discount. Req. reminder to show up when scheduled. Agreed to remove old light stain from ''v'' grooves but did not. Then tried to convince us they had. Subcontractor performed poorly, tried to hide mistakes and worked slowly. Champion provided no supervision, only had input after work was completed. Champion did perform extra repair work at no charge as compensation for the poor job.
