• Dripped paint in numerous places on kitchen cabinets and left it that way.
• Dripped and sprayed paint on doors.
• Did not replace ceiling vent.
• Did not replace light fixture.

Missed numerous spots in painting.

Did not put two coats of paint over wallpaper.  Can still see strips under the paint.

Did not paint closets.

Did not reinstall phone or mirror on walls.

Installed new interior door but failed to install door knob.

Patched cracks in drywall, but did not sand smooth and just painted over it.

Failed to repair all cracks in dry wall.

We had to put more longer screws into siding on bottom around ground.  Gave him a drawing of the where I wanted the handrail installed, but it was installed at the wrong angle to the stair steps. The house metal skirting was cut and installed correctly. The door was done very well with no problems.

Ralph did the job when he said he would and seemed to be a very nice and honest man but the quality of his work is questionable. For example:
1. Some of the braces holding up the middle part of the wood were not nailed down; they were just shoved under it.
2. The railing on one set of stairs does not match the other side.
3. Some of the pieces of wood are nailed in crooked. On some pieces where it should be aligned, it sticks out by 1and quot; on one side and is indented one inch on the other.
4. On one of the handrails in the front, he put a piece of wood with a big gouge with splintery edges on the top whereas the bottom of it is smooth. Why wouldn't he just turn it over and put the nice side up?
5. I asked him to replace a piece of rotten wood on one of the stairs. He replaced the wrong one.
6. The wood does not butt up against each other. There are small spaces between them.
7. One of the cross pieces is cracked where a nail was hammered.

I don't think he would do this quality of work at his own house. His attention to detail is severely lacking. I have not been able to get him back out now that he has been paid in full and knows that I am not happy with some of his work.

This work was done on a small weekend place so I was not there to supervise.

He first came and gave an estimate then we set up a day and he came out and went right to work, he finished and there were no extra charges and I have other jobs to do and I will call him again.
