My mother-in-law, who is 94 years old, called this company out to check her heater, a wall heater which had experienced a flame-out problem. This was on Jan. 14, 2013. The owner informed her that the heater had a hole on the combustion chamber, and would need repaired. He would order parts. On the next day, it was determined that it would be faster and more efficient to replace the wall heater with a new one. They would deliver and install the next day. In the meantime, my mother-in-law was staying with relatives, because daily high temps were only in the 30s to 40s. On the 16th, the owner and an assistant delivered and installed the new heater, lit the pilot, set the thermostat, and left. This was done un-supervised, as they had a key to the house provided by my mother-in-law. I arrived at the house at around 6:30 PM, to determine if it was warm enough to allow her to return home. I discovered that they had left a plastic safety warning tag hanging inside the combustion chamber, which had started to melt and smolder, releasing a nauseating odor throughout the house. On further inspection, I discovered that the drywall above the unit, which is a double (thru-the-wall) unit, was cracked on both sides of the wall. There were chunks of drywall missing near the upper corners of the unit on both sides, and plaster and paint peeled from the wall on the sides of the unit on both walls. I have not been able to contact the company yet, since they do not answer calls after hours, and have no emergency contact numbers that I can find.

They usually do a pretty good job. They are pretty punctual. They are a small family owned company.
