We hired White Box Remodeling to renovate our home that was built in 1985. The whole house needed to be updated and we were cautious in hiring the right company for such a HUGE job. Scott and his team were extremely professional, met all the deadlines that were promised and did exceptionally wonderful work. They made us feel comfortable and heard on all the things we wanted which is SO SO important. We were always kept in the loop on everything that was going on with the renovation. There was never a time that we felt worried or scared about the job that was being done. Renovation can be a frightening thing when time and money are on the line. HIRE WHITE BOX REMODELING. You wonâ t regret it! We hired Scott and his team (brother, brother-in-law, etc.) for major remodeling/renovation of the first level of an older split-level home, including major structural work (e.g., load-bearing wall removal). We honestly couldnâ t be happier with the work theyâ ve done for us. If youâ re looking for a team of professionals with a project manager who are in constant communication, honest, and reliable, look no further! Scott is always reachable; thereâ s always an option line of communication. His team is well-organized and performs quality work. You never have to wonder when something is going to be done and/or if it will be done right. They have the utmost integrity; theyâ re 100% truthful about any deficiencies they see, their recommendations, and if part of the project can be done less expensively but still be done well and safely. They respect the space as your home, and on top of that are just some of the nicest people youâ ll meet. Although we didnâ t utilize her excellent services very frequently for our project, Scottâ s wife (who is an interior designer) was readily available for consult on specific items when we needed advice. Personally, Iâ m a huge fan of Scottâ s transparent billing model. We would recommend (and in fact already have recommended) White Box Remodeling to anyone starting a remodel/renovation project. We are completely satisfied with all aspects of the collaboration and will definitely hire them back to work on the second level when the time comes.

Initially our interior home renovation went well. However, as the reno. progressed we noticed quality issues, mistakes and damages. Scott did address some of the issues but not all of them. About this time, we noticed charges for things that we should have never been billed for as well as charges for his staff to repair their mistakes.  After a few months, Scott sent his staff to other jobs and very little work was being done at our house. Scott was storing construction materials at our house and some areas were not usable. I called Scott about getting the job finished; he was condescending but did go ahead and promise to finish the work by a certain date. Later on I asked Scott about the leftover tile, worth lots of money, that he and Wendy picked up at my house months ago to return to three stores. We were credited with the return to one store but we never got anything else. Scott said the store would only offer them approx. $20â ¦ I asked if I could pick it up and Scott said, The tile was donated. You don't need it. So, I asked for a receipt but I never got one. I called the store where Scott said he donated it and found out that Scott had only donated one box of tile. In addition, I discovered some of the tile placed in our attic was missing. I told Scott about this and he attempted to belittle me but said he would help look for it. It was never found. Scott was angry and denied that they took the tile, instead of working with me to resolve the issue. We knew his staff took it and tried to handle it gingerly. After seven + months we terminated his services. At that point we had paid Scott $308.396. for an unfinished job â well beyond the original estimates and months beyond the original time frame. Scott and Wendy's share of this was $61,875. Scott charged us 25% extra on all labor as well as 25% extra for materials purchased. There were so many issues that we couldn't possibly address all of them. We feel taken advantage of and if you saw the work done you would understand why.

I hired White Box Remodeling through Angi for work on my home in San Antonio Texas a short while after I had a back operation. First, I will say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. When I met Scott and his wife Wendy, I realized that this is a team working to advise me about everything from design, to material sources, to expert sub contractors. At first I was just thinking about painting the interior, but as I got to know what might be possible and affordable to update my house, I signed contracts for the interior painting, new wood engineered flooring and cabinets. Scott works with some relatives and area professionals. First Alex painted the walls and trim with expert skills and cleanliness, the Mike and his nephews ripped out the old vinyl flooring and leveled the concrete slab. They did a perfect job of laying the floor. It is beautiful. Then Geno came in and did a superb job on the baseboards, patching little spots, going around difficult corners, and then caulking. He helped with other details everywhere another hand was needed. Finally, Kelly made 48 inch kitchen cabinets out of white oak. Experts came in and mounted the cabinets with laser leveling. Wendy continues to advise me about lighting and other design elements. I could not be happier with the work and the absolutely reasonable price. No surprises, no mistakes, no failures of any kind. The estimates were adhered to 100 percent. If anyone is thinking of home remodel, I cant imagine a more professional company than White Box. They are expert, dedicated and totally honest. I am happy to speak with anyone who is interested in White Box Remodeling.

Scott and Wendy were great to work with on the total remodel. We added additional rooms/projects to our original plans, and those were completed with no issues. Kevin and Alex also did an excellent job with all of the painting and detailed work throughout the project - complete cabinet rebuilds, new appliance and sink/plumbing installations, additional detailed painting, additional rooms added. Other contractors for quartz countertops demolition/upgrade installations and flooring were managed extremely well. Outstanding project management and workmanship. I would highly recommend White Box Remodeling.

Scott and Kevin were an absolute dream to work with. From the planning stages of the project to Kevins incredible, careful, CLEAN, fast work in our bathroom. Just amazing! I have worked with other contracting services before and they do not even come close to the level of professionalism and skill that these guys displayed. Will 100% be rehiring them in the future for any other work we need done! Seriously, I cannot recommend them enough. I have never felt more taken care of, honored and respected by a contractor!! It has been a few weeks since the project was completed and I am still blown away by the quality of the work. I cannot recommend White Box Remodeling enough!
