Tres Bella Salon

It went well at first. I was the one who gave Lu a rave-review on 8/24/16 for the Bob cut she gave me. That was before I went back the second, third, fourth, etc., times hoping for the same results and being disappointed. I left and went back several month later -- this time hoping for a lightly stacked Bob. The manager, Pam, ended up getting involved. It was mangled so I went looking again. Ended up going back months later because the salon was just 5 miles from where I live. This time I used a different hairdresser. I noticed she didn't seem as confident so I asked her how long she had been doing this. She said she had been out of beauty school about one year. Now, I know everyone has to start somewhere but when I'm paying what Tres Bella charges for a haircut and highlighting I'm expecting it's going to be done by an experienced hairdresser!! Not by a beginner. Tres Bella is probably the most expensive salon in the Boerne. According to Lu, the hairdressers are paid by the hour. The manager goes to the shows and then comes back and teaches them. They learn their manager's way of cutting hair. There were times when I could not tell whether their patrons were coming in or going out. Enough said!

Moving to a new area can be very daunting -- especially when searching for a new family doctor, dentist -- and more importantly finding the right hairdresser!! Angies List has made all that easier. It was on Angies List that I found Tres Bella Salon in downtown Boerne -- and after reading the reviews I chose my new hairdresser, Lu. She is awesome! I've had a lot of frustration with hairdressers in the past because I have cowlicks and most didn't know how to address them. But Lu does. She cut my hair to perfection the first time so they are unnoticeable. It's been a month now and my hair still falls right into place with just a blow dry! I couldn't be more pleased.

I've been going to them for awhile. They're great.

Everything was great. I used the stylist Aimee. I love the cut and color and I will definitely be back. The facility is clean, nice, warm and comfortable.

Pam does a great job cutting the boys hair, taking suggestions and making modifications with hair cuts.
