About us
ShelfGenie is a national company with local ownership. ShelfGenie of San Antonio has been in business since September 2009. Our goal is to work with our clients to provide a custom solution for storage, access, and organization in kitchen and bathroom cabinets, pantries, and closets. Our GlideOut shelving is a high quality, sturdy solution which helps meet the needs of homeowners who struggle with inefficient and inaccessible cabinets. ShelfGenie trains our Designers and Installers to provide a professional, streamlined experience. The design process begins with a complimentary consultation at the client's home. The ShelfGenie designer works with the homeowner to create a custom plan which addresses each cabinet and the appropriate GlideOut shelving that best meets the owner's storage needs. After the design is complete, the GlideOuts are measured and built to fit the homeowner's specific cabinets. ShelfGenie Installers are professionally trained, have passed a background screening and are fully insured. They install ShelfGenie products in a professional manner which includes respect for the homeowner's property and cleaning up before they leave. The end result is a more functional and easy to use cabinet or pantry. GlideOut's help eliminate bending and "digging" through cabinets by making items easy to see and easy to reach. This helps eliminate frustration and makes the cabinets work for rather than against the homeowner. The ShelfGenie product line is extensive with GlideOut shelving that can be customized by depth or the addition of dividers. We offer solutions for "blind corner" cabinets and are able to work around existing obstructions in cabinetry including water/gas lines, disposals, and stiles. We also offer a line of accessory items-drawer inserts, tray dividers and trash bins.

This is an excellent company!! The professionalism and knowledge of the people I dealt with, Laura Nicosia and Philip Hendrick, was outstanding. I first met Laura at the San Antonio Home Show in 2011 and was so impressed with her demonstration of the ShelfGenie products that not long after made my first order of ShelfGenie products. When the 2016 show came around, I knew it was time to finish what I started back in 2011. Making the appointments, Laura’s design, and Philip’s installation were all handled perfectly and flawlessly. The quality of the products is top-notch. There is no clean-up afterward, you are ready to load up the drawers immediately. It is hard to explain what a tremendous difference these glide-outs have. No more dragging the step ladder to reach the far back of the top cabinet to see what is in there, no more crawling on your hand and knees to see what is at the far back of the bottom cabinets in the kitchen. It is just wonderful to have all these drawers that pull out so effortlessly. And having built-in dividers for lids, cookie sheets, baking pans, cutting boards or anything else you desire is just fantastic, and such a space saver. And as an added benefit, when I finished putting everything back, I ended up with so much more open space in the drawers that I didn’t have before. I just cannot imagine ever living without them. I highly recommend ShelfGenie as a wonderful investment in your home and in yourself.
I also had pull outs put under the laundry room sink and in the cupboards. Great storage for cleaning supplies, the iron and plastic trash bags.
This is the second time I have had them installed my home. I don't ever want to live without them.
ShelfGenie has s streamlined process to make it easy on the homeower. First the designer came to my home and looked at my mess of a kitchen. She asked lots of questions, looked at my things, and came up with a plan. At that appointment she gave me options on design, colors, and materials, as well as cost information. A few days later, her installer came to obtain precise measurements. He was a courteous gentleman and he reviewed the plan with me. Four weeks later, he returned to install my new kitchen. He was able to do the installation in an afternoon. He even brought cushions to protect my flooring. I am taking time to write this review, to encourage others to make the investment in their home. We have moved many times in our 40 years of marriage and this is by far my favorite kitchen. It's well worth the financial investment...I'll be doing a phase II on my laundry room and bathrooms very soon. The quality of the ShelfGenie product is beyond compare.
We highly recommend this company to anyone who desires an exceptional product and professional service.
