They kept a very clean worksite and took great care to protect all spaces within our home. They showed up on time, stayed on schedule and worked within our budget. I can't say enough good things about MM&I Remodeling. My kitchen and laundry room were both sorely lacking in storage and my kitchen had way too little work space. Piotr and his team had great suggestions about how to update both areas and make them more functional. The work that they performed was exceptional. MM&I Remodeling was highly recommended by two friends that had experienced extensive damage to their homes from hurricane Harvey. They were very pleased with the work they had received. My experience was that from the initial assessment of damage by MM&I Remodeling, to expert interaction with adjustors, inspectors, and contractors, culminating with a very detailed, beautiful completion, every aspect of our remodeling was done with care and personal attention from MM&I. This included the owners family spending three days deep cleaning every inch of our home preparing it for our return. I will conclude with one more observation from a structural engineer neighbor who had been watching the project. I asked how he felt about the workmanship of the construction and refinishing. His reply was that he had seen no better work and had waited two years for MM&I to remodel his home. I give a five star rating to MM&I remodeling for every aspect of our remodel and obviously highly recommend them.

I hired Piotr and MM&I to repair water damage to my home. Wall repair, texturing, painting, taking up old flooring, installing new carpeting, were all involved. His head man Lalo, did a great job. He was always on time and explained what would be done on each day. The job was done in seven days. We are very pleased with the results and will certainly use MM&I again for any home projects. MM&I was retained to reconstruct the house after Hurricane Harvey came through the area. The house sustained heavy water & wind damage from the storm & flying debris from other houses. This was almost a complete rebuild. A lot of damaged materials had to be removed from the structure before reconstruction could begin. MM&I did a great job throughout the reconstruction project. I would highly recommend MM&I Remodeling to anyone seeking a quality contractor for remodeling or reconstruction needs.

Everything went excellent! We were told it would take 8 weeks and that is what it took. We did not move out during the renovation and they were very accommodating to help us get around. They cleaned up at the end of each day and did not leave things messy. One neighbor said they would not have known we were doing a renovation except for the vehicles at the house. Very trustworthy. Left a key with them to come and go as they needed to. All the work done was exceptional. Had no complaints or anything that required redoing. Made suggestions to us when something looked like it should be changed. Very knowledgeable about what they were doing.

We are very pleased and beyond satisfied with the work done. We currently hired him again to do a third bathroom in our house. MM&I always does a professional job. They are thorough with each job and always make sure the finished product is perfect. They are timely with their projects and most always meet their estimated timeframes (weather sometimes being a factor in outdoor work). They are neat and clean and pick up their materials each day and they clean the work area up as much as possible so residents can continue to function in their home. I trust them in my home and know without question that I will be pleased with the overall outcome of each project. Their prices are fair for the excellent job that they do. I highly recommend this company!

LOVE THE END RESULT! Piotr and crew were on time, respectful of our time and property- cleaned up daily. He was present, on the job each day- not just checking on the work sporadically. We did run into some hurdles that Piotr identified & we contacted appropriate resources. These set us back a bit on our schedule, but the job was completed in a timely manner. Piotr is a perfectionist who has worked many years in and around our neighborhood. He may cost a bit more, but the quality and peace of mind is worth every penny.

They were professional, personable and affordable. They conduct free roof inspections. They did one on our rental home, and we were impressed so we hired them for our primary residence.

In Oct 2015, 1 emailed Piotr Pawlowski (owner) to discuss a renovation project and within days had an appointment to discuss the matter.  We discussed the need to incorporate aging-in-place features in the bathroom update so my Mom could use the bathroom safely as she becomes more frail and her balance becomes less steady.  I liked his suggestions and thoughtfulness about what we were trying to accomplish.  Within a week I had an estimate and gave the go-ahead on the project.  Piotr was upfront about his busy schedule, how he was trying to finish his other projects before the holiday season, and that starting a project during the holiday season was not ideal as workers and subcontractors and suppliers were winding down for the season.  Despite that, he was willing to press ahead and get the project started before the end of the year.  
  The project started Thanksgiving week, Nov 2015 with the demo, halted for the Thanksgiving holiday, resumed until the Christmas-New Year holiday, then restarted until it was complete in mid-Jan 2016.  
   The end result was fantastic.  His masonry sub did a masterful job in blending in new limestone on the exterior wall with the old limestone when we put in a new, smaller window in the bathroom.  His tile and painting sub was amazing--did beautiful tile work with an exacting degree of meticulousness.  His electrician was solid as they come--found electrical problems at the utility box, fixed them, and got on with wiring the bathroom of new lights, a fan, & a heater.  His plumber also ran into problems with how the old plumbing was done in the bathroom and very quickly took care of re-doing it correctly and hooking up all the plumbing fixtures. His carpentry sub did a wonderful job in building the storage towers for the vanity.  Piotr's own workmen did absolutely solid work in framing out the new window,  doing the concrete and prep work for tiling the shower, and painting out the old vanity to match the new storage towers that were built. Piotr himself went on the hunt for a granite remnant that blended with all the other tile and he picked out a perfect color.  Saved us money in the process.  His flooring sub did a very nice job in laying down the hardwood floors.  All of the crews were respectful, helpful, and did a fairly decent job a cleaning up after themselves.  
We are so pleased with MM&I remodeling and plan to hire them again and again as we update the house.  We trust him implicitly.  If his schedule is booked, we will wait for him to become available.  Piotr truly wanted us to be happy about all details of the project and went the extra mile to ensure all details were perfect.  
   

After an exhaustive interview process of several contractors, we chose MM&I Remodeling for our work.  Pietr Pawlowski and his crew have been the best decision we have ever made in terms of work done on our home.  Pietr is a perfectionist and wants everything to be done well -- what more can a customer ask for. He looks after the customer's best interest at all times and offers advice when needed to make informed and wise decisions on how to proceed with work. All aspects of work done is of superior quality and he and his crews are punctual and clean up everything at the end of the day.  Remodeling can be difficult in many ways, but fortunately for us, we picked the right contractor and are very pleased with all of the work done. In fact, even our neighbors have commented on the work done by MM&I and one of them hired Pietr to work on their home as well.

Peter did some major remodeling for us in our home in the Texas hill country. He removed our old countertops and installed granite in our kitchen. He installed a new custom made island with 54" Wolf gas cook top and copper island vent hood. He also removed old sink and installed a new copper lap sink with new hands free faucet. They added limestone around the kitchen window and archway between the kitchen and family room. They opened a hallway by removing 2 walls. They installed solid custom made Alder wine cabinets with lighting. They moved A/C vents and installed basket weave brick veneer in the hallway ceiling. The walls and archways into and out of the hall were trimmed with limestone blocks to match the kitchen. Peter did not schedule our job in an organized manner. We experienced many delays for various reasons. It took 5 months to remodel the kitchen and open the hallway. It should have been done in no more than 2 months. He had to remove some large built in cabinets prior to doing our remodeling. He was happy to do whatever we asked. He charged for all extra work. We had no problem with the additional charges. The work was difficult but he always handled it without too much complaining. Peter does high quality work. Our house is very high end and the remodeling he did for us was complicated and expensive. The work he did looks beautiful. He is very meticulous and its part of the reason he is so slow. He re-painted one wall 3x because he didn't like how it matched! He needs to lay out his work better , assemble all the necessary materials and he and the homeowner need to set reasonable time goals. If he accomplishes this, he would earn an excellent rating. I would recommend him to anybody for high end remodeling work, but keep the problems I mentioned in mind.

MM&I Remodeling was the best company we have ever had.  They are professional, punctual, hard working and honest.  We have left our home open for them, without any concerns and even given them keys to our house.
