"We cleaned this home 8 times between Sept. 24, 2010 and Jan. 14, 2011. Three times they were cleaned by one team, and four times by another team, so it wasn't "always" a different team. After the last cleaning, she said a bracelet was missing, and we told her to contact the police department, per our insurance company's instructions. They called the girls in and questioned them, and I was contacted by a detective who told me that they didn't think the girls were responsible. In the past, we have had a few claims that things were missing, but we always got the call later on that the husband had put something in a drawer, or the item was buried in papers on the desk, etc. We take the accusations very seriously. When one team was asked to take a polygraph, we recommended that they do so, and they passed. We know it is an important decision to let a service person into the home, so we run background checks and we give them the Orion survey (which identifies a person's attitudes regarding authority, thefts, drugs and alcohol, etc.) We clean around 70-75 homes and offices each week. We have four girls who have been with us for 5 years, and 3 who have been with us for over a year. We do our best to keep our customers happy, and are continually educating ourselves on procedures, products, and current industry standards. The company qualified last year for the ARCSI seal of excellence, which is an industry standard awarded by the national trade association for residential cleaning services, and we re-qualified this year. There are several criteria we needed to meet to get accredited. I (the owner) was just notified that I just received certification for HCT technician with a score of 95 by the national industry watchdog -- the Clean Trust. We have been here for 5 years and hope to be around much longer. We are not a couple of girls with a mop and a broom, operating out of a trunk of a car. We are a professional cleaning company, who cares about our reputation and our future in our community. After all, many of the technicians, as well as myself have lived here for over 20 years, and many were born here. We go to church and school here. We are active in many local organizations, including the Boerne Business Alliance and the Greater Boerne Area Chamber of Commerce. We are not perfect, but we try to resolve any disputes to the best of our ability."
