ZERO STARS is more accurate! Hill Country Plumbing came out to my grandmother's house in December 2024 for an issue of when the washing machine is draining, water starts surfacing on the floor of her washroom. Hill Country Plumbing's resolution was a recommended to buy a new washing machine. Early January a washing machine was delivered and after running the first cycle, the second cycle presented the exact same issue as to why Hill Country Plumbing was called out in the first place. So, I called Murray Service Co in Boerne. They came out and found the root issue in the PLUMBING NOT THE NEW WASHING MACHINE obviously! How is a plumbing company like Hill Country Plumbing allowed to call themselves a plumbing company when you can't even detect and/or diagnose a real issue with the plumbing in a home?? SHAMEFULL! EVERYONE BEWARE BEFORE CALLING THIS COMPANY -they will take your money and wait for you to call them back to make another buck off of you!

They have awesome customer service, they're reasonably priced and they get the job done quickly! Hard to find a company with all of these attributes these days

I do not believe they know what they are doing. They thought it was okay to repair major pipes simply with duct tape.

The plumber was courteous and prompt in showing up - "A". The office was not very quick to respond to calls to come back - "C". Installed a faucet for me and adjusted another - great job - "A". But after two visits they didn't fix (couldn't find) my main and worst problem which was a sewer smell - "F". Ended up being a loose sink drain and not the toilet or cracked pipe behind the wall, etc. Another outfit figured it out and fixed it in 15min. If that second company hadn't come, these guys were suggesting I tear into the wall and find pipe cracks and such. So I would hire these guys again for some things (fix a clear obvious problem or install new things, but maybe not others (diagnosing problems). The plumber was nice and got right to work, and price was lower than most companies, but if you are looking for an outfit that is more thorough in diagnosing problems and dresses nice, is clean cut, puts on booties, etc, this is not the outfit for you.

I think HCP is maybe a two-plumber outfit. The results you get depend on the plumber you get. I'm not naming names, but one plumber (owner, I think) is younger and gets the job done pretty well. The other plumber is older and about ready to be put out to pasture. He complains and dallies, dragging out the job. Two hour lunch? Really?
We finally gave up on our most recent job. It involved five or six tasks. One or two got done, then they drifted away. We called and tried to get them going, and the plumber spent all day doing a two-hour job. Then we couldn't get them out to perform the next task. I finally said the heck with it and went in search of another plumber. That's not easy-all the plumbers in the area are super busy right now. That's not the plumber's fault--but if they're busy, then I expect them to schedule realistically, show up as promised, and get the job done, even if I have to wait a week or so for them to fit me in.
Overall, a disappointment. I have other plumbers coming in next week.

They did a really nice job. They just did everything that I needed them to do and they were very professional.

They are honest, don't perform services which aren't needed, and go over all of your options with you before doing any work.
