Young technician who knew his craft.listened to the problem and what I already knew. Brought in tools and found problem. Offered me options to address the problem
The problem was a small fuse blown in attic unit. The problem is there is no way to know what caused it to blow and the unit ran with the new fuse while we talked options. Since there was no obvious short I decided option #2 which is used the new fuse for now. My HVAC is still running fine now.

They were very helpful in giving me a ride after I dropped my vehicle off above and beyond the call of duty however after the work was complete I discovered had a transmission fluid leak where I lost a quart of transmission fluid about every 200 miles I took my vehicle back to hiIl country auto within about 60 days and asked them to take a look at the leak and they did and said there was nothing wrong I was not imagining the fluid leak so I took my truck to the dealer and another shop and they both stated that the pan gasket was leaking and two of the bolts securing the pan were stripped out at this point I contacted Hill Country Auto again and told them what the other shops had said and they refuse to fix the problem after I had the work done to fix the problem I sent a detailed copy of the receipt to Hill Country automotive and ask them to reimburse me and they refuse to respond and they refused to reimburse the costs I was forced to incur to fix the mistake they had made We all make mistakes and I understand however their refusal to speak with me and take any action to fairly address this situation leaves me disappointed dissatisfied and unable to recommend their service to others.

I went to Hill Country based on the word of a buddy who has had his truck worked on by Jesse. PLEASE NOTE - JESSE JUST TOOK OVER HILL COUNTRY A FEW MONTHS AGO SO I DON'T THINK THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO HIM.
This is a very small shop and the owner works on the cars himself. When I dropped it off, I was told there was a week-long wait and I was fine with that. They were very good at keeping me up to date on the status of my truck and called with estimates before repairs were made. While I wish the labor costs were less, they were in line with the industry standards. I will have more work done at a later point and will use them again.

From Start to finish the whole process went smooth and faster than I thought. The main mechanic Steve is very knowledgeable. They were friendly and very professional.
