We chose them for the work because they were honest and they delivered what they promised. Their cost was very reasonable for custom homes. It took them almost 10 months to complete the build. Thirty days after the job was complete, they contacted us and asked us to make a list of anything that needed touched up or warranty work completed. This was the third house we have had built and they were the only company as responsive as they were after the job was complete. Everything turned out great! We would use them again and refer them to anyone.

This is an incomplete review as I am nearing the end of a very very long and difficult build process. My review will be updated with very detailed accounts of the build job/process. To be fair to the builder I am holding back the details until he has a chance to finish the product and I have a chance to have the property independently inspected as well. I will however say that overall in regards to the "process" I was "disappointed" in general and then sometimes pleasantly surprised with some of the resolutions they agreed to. As far as the finished product goes, when I move-in I will be in a better position to comment on the quality of the product. Since I live a mile or two from the build site I visited it over 700 hours in the past 15 months. I documented it all on film and with pictures and even keep a journal so I would not forget specifics as well. check back in March/2014 for an update.

I have been thoroughly impressed with Garner Custom Homes. The process started with an initial meeting with Trey Garner and his architect Jim Terrain. Over a few months we worked out plans for the home. Trey and Jim were excellent at turning our vision into a workable set of plans. Next we obtained financing and started the construction process. Jason was assigned as our construction supervisor. He directly oversees the construction of the house and schedules all of the sub contractors. Jason has been outstanding at understanding our concerns, communicating the process with us and answering questions. His availability is superior. Our house is 80% complete (we have a foundation, frame, roof, plumbing, and electrical). This is the first custom home I have ever had built and the process was very intimidating / overwhelming. The team at Garner homes expertly guided us through the process. I recommend Garner Custom Homes completely. My home should be complete in January. I will update this review then.
