Recently had our entire house floor redone through couture floors and couldn’t be happier with the result. Jed and his team are professional, prompt and so easy to work with. Super impressed by Paul and his ability to move things around in our house so that during the process, we always had a place to relax and not feel restricted. It went okay. They delivered the wrong flooring. I went ahead and accepted it, because the rooms were all set and I did not want to wait two more weeks to get the correct one.

On cost, it was a lot.  I can't really tell you how much.

We had good communication with Dan during the estimating process.  The crew that did our hardwood worked through a weekend to meet our schedule.  Both crews seemed to take pride in their work and tried to get everything right.  Overall, we felt it was a good value and a good experience.  Our floors are much better and have improved the whole look of our house.

It all went very smooth.  I have never had a group of workers who were as professional as they were.  They were courteous, clean,
very respectful and most important did a great job on laying the flooring!  Jed was my contact who came out to measure and give me a bid.  He showed up 10 mins early, which is great.  They called me on Sat to tell me what time to expect them and Justin and a crew of 3 showed up Mon morning right on time!  It was a pleasure to have them in my house.  Usually the hardest part of having workers in your house or on your property is the uncomfortable feeling of not knowing how its going to go and how long will the work drag out... but I knew instantly that these guys were just here to get the job done and move on to the next!  I can't say enough about their professional manners.  I feel like the price was a little higher but with the time frame to have it installed ( the other company in Boerne said they were booking into January!) I'm happy with my decision.

We came in two weeks before we wanted it done during my husband's vacation week. They were able to fit us in. They gave us five options that matched our existing wood floors in the dining room and office. They came on time the first day and found they needed to level the foundation. The next day they put in the floors and it needed to sit overnight for the glue. They came back the third day and told my husband how to care for them and looked over the job with him. They left a cleaning kit with us as well. They might be more expensive than big box stores but you cannot beat their service. Their contractor teams have been with them for years which is what we wanted. Awesome job!!

From the first contact via Angie's list, Couture Floors were very professional and courteous. Their representative came to our home, listened to our expectations, and asked appropriate questions that demonstrated an understanding of the goal and intent of our project. We had been plagued with a slate floor in our atrium that allowed water to seep into the adjacent walls when it rained. Working with Couture Floors we were able to come up with a slate colored tile floor with waterproofing around the perimeter and a tile splash border that will prevent future seepage problems. The end result is even more beautiful than the original floor and much more functional! The job was completed in less than a week and their workers were meticulous in laying and grouting the tile. The Couture floors representative visited the job during each phase of the process and conducted a final inspection to confirm our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to choose Couture floors for any future flooring work. 

We were ready to purchase laminate flooring (to replace carpeting in our bedroom and hallway) from a flooring company associated with Costco.  However, the process of getting an estimate was taking longer than expected, so we decided to get a bid from Couture Flooring, which was very close to our residence.  Dan Majetich came out at 9am, took measurements, and emailed 3 quotes for us by 11am the same day.  In fact, he made a second trip the same afternoon to measure our kitchen after I mentioned that we would consider new flooring there as well.
We gave the first flooring company a week to give us an estimate.  I actually had to call them to ask when I could expect some figures.  I finally got an estimate that was slightly less than what Dan had provided a week earlier.  Because of the speedy quotes that Dan provided, we decided to go with Couture to do the flooring.
We are very happy with our decision!  The crew was efficient, courteous, friendly and professional.  They were dealing with a subfloor that was uneven, wavy concrete.  They tore out the old carpet and leveled the floor the first day.  The second day they installed the new flooring, and finished with the trim work the morning of the third day.
Our new floors look great!  Couture Flooring is a very well-run company and they have outstanding employees!!  Oh, and that first flooring company never called me back - I guess they didn't need our business.

Dan was very helpful explaining which tiles were suitable for our outdoor application and allowing us to take samples away to see what they looked like on the patio. He came round, measured up and sent a quotation within a couple of days.
We delayed the installation while we had some other work performed and when we told Dan we were ready to start he set a date and started and finished on time. The patio looks lovely and we were especially impressed that they had taken the time to cut the tiles to the shape of the stone instead of just filling in the gap with grout - it makes it look really well finished.

Not only did Dan at Couture floors work with us on finding just the right tile and wood combination, but his estimate for work came in well under the competition.  However, that did not come with any sacrifice to quality, courtesy, or workmanship.  His crews were professional, attentive, and extremely responsive.  My wife and I left for 4 days and by the time we got home, we were stunned to find the work completed and perfect.  Dan's crews even worked through July 4th weekend to make sure that we were not inconvenienced.  I could not believe they were able to do the entire job in that time period.  I can't say enough about Couture.  Needless to say, we will definitely be having them back when we get our second story floors redone.  They even gave a great recommendation for some bathroom tiling that we will be performing to make up for some poor looking baseboards covering concrete.  If you're shopping around, do yourself a favor and contact Dan.  You will not be disappointed.

Couture Floors is an amazingly patient and extremely professional business.
The woman in the show room (sorry I forgot her name) was a big help and asked all the right questions to help me decide on a product to meet both my wants and my budget.
The showroom has an excellent array of choices for hardwoods (and carpet, tile, laminate, etc.) and there is no pressure to hurry up and make a choice, I returned to the showroom four times before making the final decision which I have not regretted for one moment.
I cannot say enough about the actual process.  The installation took less than two days and everything was moved out and then back in.  I was amazing and quite delighted at the care and follow through I experienced with Dan and his crew. 
It seemed like I turned around and the floor was installed magically, no muss no fuss, not a hair out of place when complete.
Dan followed up with me via phone to make sure that I was satisfied with the results.
I am planning an outside kitchen/enclosed deck project in which I will use Dan and his team for suggestions and installation of my flooring.

We have used Couture three times to replace carpeting in our home with hardwood floors and are very satisfied.  We went to their showroom on IH 10 to view samples of flooring.  It's a really nice showroom that has extensive displays of carpeting, tile, and flooring.  They allow you to take samples home to see how they look in your home.  An employee comes to your home to accurately measure the areas to be covered (Jeb did this in our case).  He's fast and efficient. 



The first time we used Couture, we were replacing a large carpeted area with hardwood.  We got estimates from three different flooring companies. The difference in price between them was less than $100.  We selected Couture based on the longevity of their flooring crews.     



When your wood is received at the company they will bring it to your home a day or two before installation so have a place inside your home ready for storing several boxes of wood.  This area should have the same temperature and moisture level as the area to be covered. 



Couture uses two or three different subcontractor teams to install the floors.  This is not always a good thing, but Couture has used the same teams for several years so there is consistency.  Ask for David and his crew to install your floor, if possible.  He is a real artist.  He and his crew of cousins and brothers worked while growing up with their dads who own flooring businesses.  They grew up learning the business.  



Installation time depends on the square area of the floor, but even large areas (in our case the living, dining and entry) can be completed in one day.  Occasionally, some surface leveling may be required so that material has to dry before application of the glue so installation can take a couple of days.  After installation is complete, the crew cleans everything up, helped you move the furniture in place, and hauls away the old carpet and pad.  Whomever you get to do your floors, make certain they check for and re-level  the surface, if necessary.



Couture will be our first stop in the future for any flooring needs.

After writing my review, I was contacted by Couture Flooring. It appeared that my e-mail that I sent requesting ideas on fixing the carpet that was laid went to the same place missing socks go from the dryer. They never received my request. They arranged to have a installer redo the tile/carpet joint (which was just finished) and it looks great.

We where extremely please with Couture Floors! Dan one of the owners came out to give me an estimate and he was extremely professional. They started the work right on time and ended when they said they would. Dan was very prompt in returning my phone calls and their customer service was outstanding! We will definitely be using them in the furture to replace some hardwood floors. I would highly recommend this company!
