Extremely disappointed.

We had seen his work at a Home and Garden show recently and we were impressed. He came to do the estimate and we also wanted him to look at the possibility of resurfacing our very plain fireplace. He was very creative and he spent some time making sure we agreed on color and texture. We did have to wait longer than we expected for the final estimate but we were happy with the price. The work was expected to take 2 weeks . Once the work was started it there was daily progress. There were only a couple of delays but the bulk of the work was done in aprox 3 weeks. We planned to have it completed by Memorial Day so we could have friends over for a cook out. All of the work was done except for caulking the fireplace and replacing the outlets in the kitchen. Al said he would be back in plenty of time to have it done before the holiday. We made he mistake of paying the balance before the work was completed. He did not return in time for our party. I ended up replacing the outlets myself. We left several messages on his phone and they went unanswered. After a week I sent him an email threatening to report him to the BBB and he finally called and finished the work. We are very pleased with the finished product and generally with Al although I shouldnt have to threaten someone to finish a job . I believe that Al's heart is in the right place but he needs more help when he takes on extra work.
