I did have a couple of quotes that were higher so I did like their price. My house has 2 air conditioning units. He repaired one unit with the new coil. I asked him for a quote to replace the entire second system. He gave me the quote but when I inquired about a rebate he told me he would have to raise his quote. I did not appreciate that.

Our old air handler had developed a leak in the coil and was out of warranty. This estimate was one third less than a competing bid for the same unit. The technician was very familiar with Carrier systems.
