William came out to give an estimate on a house we were selling, I called him a few weeks later in a time crunch due to closing on the house. He was very prompt and did a wonderful job.

I Called Gordy Roofing earlier in the week and spoke with William Gordy. I asked Mr. Gordy several questions over the phone including if his company had ever worked with synthetic underlayment, if they hand nailed or used a nail gun, and his companies working with rain polices. Mr. Gordy answered all of my questions professionally so I asked him when would he be available to provide a bid. Mr. Gordy stated he would be able to come later that same week. When Mr. Gordy arrived on Thursday of that same week he was very professional and answered all of my questions. Most importantly they do not chance working while there is any probability of rain, they hand nail the shingles, and they have experience working with synthetic underlayment. Mr. Gordy measured my roof and provided a bid on site. In my experience, with three other roofing companies, Gordy Roofing was the only company that provided a bid on site. After reviewing the bid and asking a few additional questions I decided to hire Gordy Roofing before he left. Mr. Gordy stated it would be approximately three weeks before his company could get to my roof which I was more than happy with since there is a less chance of rain in the coming weeks.

The bedroom ceiling of my new house was discolored, indicating a roof leak. An inspection of the roof had been done previously, and the inspector assured me the leak had been fixed. It wasn't. I called Gordy to come and look at the problem. He came out promptly, found the leak, and sealed it with roofing cement. He told me to watch the ceiling, and if the discoloration doesn't grow, then the leak was indeed sealed. I requested a quote for a small roof job for a deck; and he gave me a very reasonable quote right on the spot. Because I had asked for the quote, he didn't charge me for the repair. I've been watching the discoloration in the ceiling and it's not growing, indicating that Gordy found and fixed the problem other had missed.

They came over. Found what was causing the leak. Made repairs. This company has also installed a complete roof on another house for me and all was good.

Gordy came out and gave us an estimate for a new roof (not insurance work) and although the price was reasonable, we had a lower estimate...we called them and they adjusted our estimate and got close to the other guys. We went ahead and went with them and they did a great job...We had them completely strip the roof, do away with the 2 turbines, and put in ridge vents. They showed up that morning around 8:30 am and brought about 6 guys with them. They were done by 3pm. The jobsite was clean (we found only one roofing nail), the roof looks fabulous and we already see a difference in our bills by going with the ridge vents. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new construction or just a roof job. What I liked was that Mr. Gordy was there the whole time overseeing the job! Wonderful experience and we have a 5 year guarantee!

When I had another issue inside my house, I had them come and give me their opinion because I trust them. The guy that came looked at it and told me what needed to be repaired. He didn't charge me for the advice. If we have roofing problems, these are the guys we call. I had a little leak around my skylight and he climbed up to look at it. He took care of it and he didn't charge me. He says to just pay it forward. It's a family business; the dad started it and the boys are doing the work. I think they are the greatest people in the world and they are very responsive.

The price it depends on the roof but it was reasonable. I liked the fact that they always had someone on duty here that I could speak to and could tell me what's going on, the details on when they'd be back and when they would finish and all of that. I liked their clean up. With respect to price and quality, I got in whole a good price and quality roof. Their punctuality was good.
