They were A. They did an outstanding job. I'm really happy with what they did on the concrete.

He was recommended by my neighbor where he did work nearly 2 years ago. Have to say that his work looked good, so I called him.  Mr. Reyes came over promptly where we discussed what I had in mind and he gave me a quote of $900 for all the work which included 12 plants, cut whiterock stone to form the curved wall, and natural river stone on the interior. Since has available, I had him start immediately which his crew did. 
Work progressed quickly and looked good as I monitored their progress.  The problems began at the end of the work and continue to this day.  Started with sloppy mortar work that was on brick surfaces where it was very noticeable.  Keep in mind that Mr. Reyes at that time was showing me how good the work done.  I also had the feeling that he was looking for the "you're done" seal of approval. Hardly.
The problems continued badly with yard cleanup.  Pieces of debris including plant material, mortar, and stone were littered throughout my lawn.  I ended up having to clean it myself to prevent damage to my mower once I realized after they left that they had raked it down so that it was embedded in the grass bed.  Great.
I called Mr. Reyes for a week of unanswered calls and finally gave up.
Now let's read about payment.  Mr. Reyes wanted CASH as payment.  He asked me on the last day of work specifically if I could pay him in cash.  I told him no.  He asked again later that day.  I told him now.  When I did pay him (before noticing the debris) with a check, he was noticeably annoyed.  IRS... are you reading this?
Now onto dead plants.  He gave me a plant warranty and I've got two dead plants.  I've called him several times without a response.
Summary:  Do not use him.  He may give you a good price, but it isn't worth it.
