Nagy Plumbing

Was referred to Nagy by an employee of the company who did my foundation work, so when I had to wait a week and a half for the appt. I agreed. Waiting was my first mistake and hiring Nagy was my second. When I made the appt. with Mr. Nagy, I asked him what the process would be and if a leak was found, would he be able to fix it the same day as I had to take off work. He assured me that he would, so I took off a whole day of work to be there. The day of the appt., a young man and female showed up, plugged my clean out, pulled the toilet in my master bath, and proceeded to fill the lines with water. When they realized it wasn't holding, they told me I had a pretty substantial leak. I asked them what was next, and the young man told me that he needed to call his boss; said that the leak tests they perform are usually negative. Long story short, I ultimately was told that they didn't have the equipment (camera) or the manpower to complete the job and referred me to Jim's plumbing. This was on a Thursday, so needless to say, I couldn't get another plumber out to my house until that following Monday. I don't appreciate being lied to or having my time and money wasted. I took off 8 hours of work and they were in and out in roughly an hour and a half. What kind of plumbing company can diagnose a leak, but can't repair it?

Randy arrived at 10, worked very neatly and calmly. Very nice young man and he did a great job. I am a native to Texas and one thing I have found as a woman with these companies is they all want to hire and quot;bubbasand quot; or and quot;chauvinistand quot; who love to talk DOWN to a woman like we are idiots or something. I am glad to say that Randy nor Steve never once acted that way. They were polite and professional! I will hire them again and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors!

These folks do a great job for a great price. I priced all of the parts/tools to do the job myself and it would have cost about $200, so the job effectively cost me about $50. They did the job right and saved me a lot of time. If I need a plumber again, I am calling them.

We have used Nagy's services in the past -- we called them, told them what we needed and they promptly resolved our problem with quality work.

They did a beautiful job. I just like that the way he does business. All of the technicians are knowledgable, neat, tidy and well groomed.

Since we had such wonderful service from Randy in the past, we called him again to see if he would come take care of the problem for us. He was here when he said he would come, and he took care of the problem and charged us a very reasonable amount to do so. He went "above and beyond" when he saw a hole in our roof and made us aware of it, and then helped to cover it. He did not have to do that, but it was certainly appreciated since neither my husband nor I were able to climb a ladder and do that. We appreciate him and the work he has done for us. He is the only plumber we will call in the future, and I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing services.

Overall their services were good and I would recommend them to anybody. He was very professional, he came in and did the work without any issues.

First thing on a Friday morning I discovered water leaking out from under the baseboards in our garage. It wasn't gushing and I couldn't hear water running but the pool of water was definitely growing. I called and spoke directly with Steve Nagy. He was already at a job in someone's home and one of his associates had just left the office with a full days worth of work orders, but he said he'd call me right back to let me know when someone could get to me. I had already called a few other plumbers and had either not heard back from them or they were booked until Wed or Thurs of the following week. I wasn't ready to call my situation an emergency, but it definitely couldn't wait through the weekend. Two minutes later, Steve called me back and said he was going to finish the job he was working on himself and send his assistant ahead to my place to make sure the leak didn't get worse. When the assistant arrived, he took his work boots off to pass through my house (which wasn't necessary, but I thought some people would like to know that) and set to the task of finding the 'mystery-leak' Somehow after only about 20 minutes, he found the teenie tiniest little spray of water shooting from the soldered joint on the cold water pipe behind our washing machine. He had to cut a very small square out of the sheet rock, but honestly, I would have had to rip the whole wall out to find that tiny leak! The repair was pretty involved and before he fixed the hole in the sheet rock, he did a check on the hot water pipe's joint - just to make sure it looked okay. After the amount of time he had to spend, I was amazed my bill was barely $100! The young man who did the actual repairs for me was very professional and did an outstanding job. He also spoke very highly of his boss's character, which if you ask me, means a lot. I would definitely recommend Nagy Plumbing to anyone in the Belton/Temple area!
