Blizzard Air

Blizzard Air has helped me more than a handful of times with my VERY old HVAC units over the past 5 years. Their communication, knowledge, pricing and ability to swiftly make repairs is top notch. I will continue using them as long as they are in business, and recommend them to anyone that needs help with the ac/heater systems.

My A/C went out late Friday nite. I’m on oxygen and overheating exacerbates my breathing issues. I wouldn’t have anyone out until Monday. First thing Monday morning I get a call for an appointment shortly thereafter. Paul (Technician with Blizzard Air) came out per AHS Warranty work order for freezing A/C. I found Paul to be very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, efficient, and got the job diagnosed and repaired in no time. I would highly recommend Paul and Blizzard Air for your A/C needs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - seems like a scam! My home warranty booked them to work on our AC. Tech showed up, said the part would take 2 weeks. Showed up in unmarked van. Never heard from anyone again. It’s been a month since they came out. I’ve called their office the last two weeks and left voicemails. I emailed. My husband called. My home warranty called. It’s been a month in the Texas heat I’ve had no AC and it’s absolutely miserable. They’ve completely ghosted us. Shameful, lack of integrity, lack of common decency. Do not use.

Tech showed up at my home and worked on my AC for several hours. Before leaving AC would not shut off so Tech went back up to my attic and ”undid” everything he did. He came inside and reprogrammed my Nest thermostat incorrectly and went outside and got in his truck, he stated he would come back after he ordered 2 parts. After 24 hrs I called Company and asked when tech would come back out, owner was very rude and said they would not be back out. I asked him why would they leave my AC not working?? He said get someone else. I told him I would report him to BBB and American home shield warranty company. He stated he did not care. Beware!

These guys came out the next day around lunch, identified the problem and had it repaired within 2 hours. They were courteous, professional and explained the situation thouroughly. I would hire them again. They were hired through American Home Shield so we only paid our deductable.

I have had Blizzard Air work on my A/C many times. They are always punctual and respectful. This particular time was much like the others. The tech did some research to find out what was wrong, fixed it, and explained to me what he had done. I love this company!
