Submitted contract on 6/20/2011. Was told 5 to 6 weeks start time for well to be drilled. At the end of 6 weeks visited office and was told it would be at least another month. After reminding them of their promise was told they would start Aug 1. August 1 I was told they would start for sure August 8. By phone (I made the call to them) Aug 8 was told equipment was broken and "no one knew when it would be repaired". August 12 I called again and was told they still didn't know and that I should just wait until they called.Again on August 12 the owner called me and said I was rude to his wife and therefore he didn't want to do business with me. Truth is his wife started hollering at me on the previous phone call and told me he would call later. I said OK. So after seven weeks I get to start over again. I chose these people because they were local to my town. I should have investigated them further I think.
Description of Work: These people drill water wells. Currently because of the drought there is a long wait for wells to be drilled. I knew that and was given an approximate time the well would be started after signing an estimate/agreement. After that they never called me with any information. I initiated every call or visited them. They said I was rude because I wanted a definitive answer regarding my project. The last day I called the lady was very loud and agitated. I asked to have the owner call me and she said he was busy and wouldn't tell me anything different than she did. She was wrong -- he told me he didn't want to work with me. This has left me in a real bind. This work would have been in excess of $12,000.
