I have used them in the past and they were good. The problem started when they didn't take up the concrete walk way before they put down the new pavers. They told me this would save me money on the project so I was agreeable to it. BUT what they didn't tell me is that when the original walkway was put in, it was designed for the water to drain off of it at an angle so as to not cause drainage problems. By building pavers on top of the walk way, it has made all the water from the walk way go into my garage and is now rotting the walls of my garage! Everyone who has looked at this said that anyone who does walkways or pavers KNOW that you assess the drainage before you build up a walk way b/c you don't want water to run into a building, you want it to flow AWAY from it. The way they built the walkway, they actually encased a pool of water under the steps of my garage stair case and it had 12 inches of standing water in it with no drain. The project cost over twice as much as it was suppose to! So if I had simply hired someone else, I could have had the concrete taken out and the pavers put in properly. The and quot;cost over runand quot; came b/c I was in the ICU and couldn't oversee the project. Even though I asked to please hold on the work, they insisted it was OK to continue that they knew what I wanted. They added extra charges without my OK and then simply billed me for it when I got home from the hospital. The work was already done and I was told they couldn't and quot;un doand quot; the work and I owed them the money. I thought it was taking unfair advantage of me while I was very very sick. They badgered me to come pick up a check all the time and then when it rained, I had all the water problems. I had someone come to put in a drain, but it was a nightmare b/c the pavers and concrete were so thick it was very expensive to burrow a drain under all the crap to get the tadpoles and pond I had going out. My garage is rotting now (4 years later). The pavers look nice! Their work in the past was good, but this work sucks! I can't believe it cost so much and is done so poorly!

8/15/12 Frank Zamarron at our request visited our home, discussed options, took measurements, and provided the name of vendors for required materials.
My husband and myself visited the vendors and began the selection process.
Initial estimate was received on 8/17/12 and a second revised estimate on 8/27/12. The latter reflected the use of precut tiles versus original plan to cut natural stone for the entry.
9/13/12 Contract signed with a 50% down payment. The delay was due to the fact the tile company had recently been bought out and Frank had to set-up a new account in order to receive contractor discounts.
Estimated start time was 9/22-9/25/12. Work began week of 9/24/12 and completed 10/02/12. The forecast of rain delayed work 1 day.
Frank checked in daily. His workers were diligent, polite and responsible. They cleaned up appropriately each day.
The individual who laid the stone and tiles was methodical and very careful with each placement. He worked as an artist creating his masterpiece!
During the entire process, Frank made appropriate suggestions, readily answered questions and informed us of the follow-up care for each surface. He also acted on our requests.
Frank's wife, was responsible in relaying messages and contacting Frank as necessary.
Final payment made upon completion.

Both the company engineers and myself designed this patio. There were certain details about the design that only I could understand. Mainly the step up was an inset built in grill section of the patio. It took a while for the design to come together because I did not want a major increase in cost. It also took much longer to finish the patio then was forecasted; it took a total of two months mostly because of bad weather. In the end, the job was to my satisfaction.
