MR C WATCH & CLOCK REPAIR

For years (~10?) I have been coming here to have my watch batteries replaced and a repair or two. I have been very, very pleased with Mr. C's service and prices. However, I recently brought in 2 watches for new batteries, that were both working just fine. After they replaced the batteries, they tell me that one of the watches DATE function is no longer working (Luminox), that it must have happened when I dropped the watch. (There was a blemish in the crystal, but it had occurred many months prior and the watch had always worked without issue.) I informed them that the watch had been working perfectly fine before and I did not agree with their assessment. Then another employee says they think they know what is wrong with it and take it to the back to try something else. Well, after a few more minutes they come back and the watch is still not working. They double down on their claims that it was broken when I brought it in. Again, I insist that there was nothing wrong with the watch when I brought it in. My pleas fell on deaf ears and to make matters worse, they still charged me for the new battery. I paid to have them replace a battery for a watch they broke and no longer works. I will never go there again. I suggest you do the same, unless you need your timepiece broken.

Small family-owned business with everyone (it seemed) working on their own specialty. They had my clock for 5 days and when I called to inquire, "Mom" was out and she was the one who usually worked on my type clock. I went by anyway to check and was told they had made a minor adjustment and nothing seemed to be wrong with it. It was hanging on the wall and showed the correct time. She refused payment saying it was such a minor problem and showed me the correct way to move time forward when changing batteries. Such an honest shop and while I was there they patiently helped 4 other customers with clocks and watches. Good, old-fashioned work ethic and customer service!

The shop is very small but they are very nice and always take care of me. I have been using them for the past 10 years. It is a very nice, family-owned business. They are a very nice couple.

Have used store for many years for watch repairs and battery replacement. If he can do the work, usually while you wait, or will tell exactly when it will be ready. Has done minor jewelry repairs for grandchildren. Always courteous and friendly

Had watch stop after battery replacement 2 months prior. Was told it would require cleaning, minimum $60. took the watch elsewhere, just blew out inside with compressed air and watch now runs fine.
