Scott was there for us 24/7. He was real, never talked unrealistic numbers but was willing to go where we wanted to go with the house. Our house had been on the market 120 with a different real estate company. We contacted Scott, our of sheer frustration, and he offered some advice (having gone into our home on his own time without any commitment from us.) After losing 4 potential buyers with our first agent, we decided to dismiss them. Within a week, and following Scott's advice, we had three solid offers. One was $15K more than our first agent told we could sell the house for. The house sold and Scott lead us through the entire process. Our only mistake was not engaging Scott initially. When I go into a store, I like the salesperson to acknowledge me, let me know he or she is available should I need assistance, and then stay out of my hair while I shop. Overly solicitous is not my jam.
Scott Killian is the real estate equivalent of my ideal salesperson. He sets up your very own idiot-proof MLS portal to your specifications, and then gets out of your way. BUT (very key) he's available when you have any questions or want to look at some houses. If he isn't available, he makes sure one of his associates is. He provides excellent service when you want it, but doesn't buzz around like a mosquito when you don't. He showed us houses off and on for nearly two years without complaint. That's a long time to deal with a picky buyer, and he remained low key and good-natured throughout. I'd like to think it's due to my sparkling personality, but I know that it's just how Scott is. This is his job, and he does it well.

I am pretty familiar with how the selling and buying of homes typically goes. And one thing is for certain, I was not typical. Scott Killian handled everything that came up with the utmost professionalism. He was there for me at every turn. He knows the market, what to look for, has everything covered. I would recommend him to anyone. He tells it like it is and at the same time is there for you when you need him!

Agreeing to begin marketing the house a full 3-4 months before move date, Scott demonstrated patience and professionalism from the very beginning of our working relationship to sell the house. Relaxed demeanor from listing to closing, pressure tactics never remotely surfaced.
From settling on his service fees, determining a listing price, and setting buyer expectations for a relatively distant closing date, the overall experience could not have been better. The listing photos supplied by Scott's contracted professional photography services were expertly framed to highlight the house's strengths and were included as part of his multifaceted marketing strategy employing multiple online realty services such as Zillow to complement the requisite MLS listing service.
Scott's real estate experience and intimate knowledge of the HEB market in particular manifests themselves very practically through the contacts that he has made during his career. Selling a house inevitably involves making repairs, and for each repair required, Scott offered a referral who demonstrated outstanding workmanship at a fair price.
In the end the house sold for far closer to our asking price than I originally expected, and with relatively little stress that was quickly displaced with Scott's comforting knowledge and advice. Even the biggest names in the real estate industry cannot compare with the experience and knowledge of the HEB area afforded by Scott Killian Real Estate; I cannot recommend his services enough.

Scott went above and beyond in all aspects of our transactions. He not only sold our home but also found us a new property. I did not list my house until we had found an acceptable property and that took quite a bit of time. He probably worked with me for at least 6 months until we finally found the right property at the right price. He then really went to work doing his marketing research and we sold the house quickly at full market value. I would definitely use him for my next real estate transaction and so should you!

Scott showed up to our listing appointment on time and with good information and knowledge of the neighborhood and selling prices. I wanted to price a little low to sell quickly and he confidently gave a number much higher. I stuck to a lower number - but he was right! We received multiple offers well over asking price within 24 hours of listing. He helped me sort through the offers and in the end, it sold for exactly what he told me it would! #wellplayed

I am in the process of getting my house ready to sell. It's still a year or two down the road, but I wanted to know what improvements I should make that would help increase the value. I looked on Angie's List and found Scott Killman, 817.703.1165, email: [email protected].
He came over and went thru the house with me, making recommendations such as, remove the wall paper, update light fixtures, replace carpet, and lots more. He was exceptionally helpful and responsive. I highly reccommend him if you're looking to buy or sell, either now or in the future.

My family and I were living in Lubbock, about 5 hours away, so that I could attend graduate school, when the person renting our home in the DFW area told us she was leaving the house in less than 30 days. We were not in a situation to pay a mortgage back in DFW and rent here in Lubbock, so selling our home became an emergency. While visiting DFW, I called Scott two days before we were scheduled to go back to Lubbock and he made arrangements to meet me at the house on a Sunday.
He was very knowledgeable about the current market in the area and helped us arrive at a selling price. He had a professional photographer at the house the next day taking pictures to put the house on the market. Within 24 hours it had shown several times and we received a full-price offer. After the offer was made we had some bumps along the way with the sellers but Scott offered advice and was patient and respectful of the decisions we made. He also knew when and how to play hardball with the sellers.
I would recommend Scott to anyone who wants an experienced, professional realtor who will sell their home quickly and for the best price. He will tell you what you need to know in a respectful manner without sugar coating anything. Using any other realtor, for our family, would be out of the question.... Thanks Scott!

Very well. He was punctual (30 minutes early), professional and gave me suggestions on what I needed to do to get my house in saleable shape. Scott knows his business. He provided me a list of vendors to contact for bids to get the fixing up process under way. He did this free of charge and did not insist on me signing him up as a listing agent at this time as I am still on the fence as to whether I want to put the house on the market.

Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial transactions people can make in their lives, and we were no different.
After talking to a few potential realtors, we selected Scott from Angie's List Super Service Award winners. He is deserving of the award. Scott Killian is very knowledgeable about the real estate market, what your asking price should be, what you need to do to get your home in shape for a sale, and all the other in's and out's of residential real estate transactions. Scott is a personable family man, helpful, thoughtful and has accumulated a great list of sub-contractors you can tap into to make necessary repairs or upgrades if needed. He either answers the phone when you call or returns every phone call or email almost immediately.
After several weeks of moving and preparation, we listed our house and immediately had multiple showings booked the first day. Scott had done a great job of getting the word out that our house was coming on the market. Before the first day was over, we had two offers in hand for slightly more than our asking price. We ended up completing the transaction with the first offerer, so our house was on the market for only one day.
If you are looking to sell a home (or to buy a home), Scott's knowledge of the DFW area market, and in particular, the mid-cities area, is what you need to achieve a successful transaction. Give him a call and you won't be disappointed.

Scott was able to find us the house we are looking for and sell our current house as well. I was extremely impressed at his responsiveness, and knowledge. We originally found the house we were looking for before we even thought about listing our current home. We had every intent in renting our original home out, but after we thought about all the things we wanted to do and the burden of having 2 mortgages, we decided to list our current home. We came to this decision on a Thursday night about 7 PM, and called Scott. He was at our house at 8 AM to take pictures, and lined up someone to view the house at 8:30 AM. To my amazement, he called me a little after 9 AM to tell us we have an offer. He worked up the contract with a lease back period, so if it closes before the house we are buying we aren't forced out. Truly amazing!
On the house we are buying, it was a foreclosure, HUD home, but in relative good shape. I was surprised it was a HUD home given how nice the house was 180k+ and most Realtors would of skipped over it. He has worked with me through all the BS that HUD forces you to go through (Bid Process, Inspection Period, Utility Activation, etc...) and even recommended contractors at my request. I've had 2 Realtors I've used in the past, original purchase of old home, and unsuccessful sale of old home last year. Not only has Scott and his team surpassed them, but his level of service is far superior to any Realtor I've ever dealt with.

The market is very tight in the price range I was looking and opportunities don't last long. Scott and I waited for several months before the right one came on the market. These guys are the best. I first worked with Scott Killian in 2012. He sold my house in TWO DAYS. In October 2013 he sold my condo in about a month. His marketing techniques are stellar, the best in the D/FW area. He and his agent, Amy Fish, helped me stage my condo and gave me great tips on how to show the property optimally. When it comes to negotiating, Scott is a bulldog, always and unrelentingly working for the best interest of his clients. He always took my calls, always answered my questions and (sometimes) calmed my fears truthfully and professionally.
Amy Fish is one of the buyer's agents. She worked tirelessly on my behalf. She actually ended up writing four offers for me before I finally was able to find one to "stick". (The others fell through for a variety of reasons.) I'm quite sure that my indecisiveness must have driven her crazy. In spite of that, she was always cheerful, and always willing to help. She seems to be gifted at matching clients with homes that they love.
Both Scott and Amy are TOPS. I hope that I don't have to move again any time soon ... but if I do, I will definitely use Scott Real Estate for future real estate transactions.
