HORRIFIC! PLEASE take them off Angie’s List! After an episode of extreme discomfort and agitation the previous day, my puppy fell ill. She was extremely lethargic, listless and would not eat. During her bout of discomfort, it appeared that perhaps she got bit by a something in her skin. We could not find anything in her fur but the next morning we did find a couple of bites on her. I took a picture of these and I recorded her actions and sent the video and pictures to Animal House prior to her appointment. I explained the onset of her symptoms to the vet tech and even provided notes on her eating/bathroom patterns leading up to the appointment. I also provided a copy of my puppy’s vaccination records. The vet tech took Annie in and no more than 10 minutes later came back out to tell me the doctor saw on her vaccination records that she received all her vaccinations in one day ( over two weeks ago and had no problems until this point) and that is what caused her to fall ill. She also proceeded to tell me the puppy’s diet is contributing to her illness. I stated that she had been fine prior to the agitated episode in the video I sent them and asked if they evaluated the bites. The tech said they did not see any bites on her even though I reexplained where they were and sent pictures. I asked if blood work could be done and/or any other testing to rule out infection. The tech said the doctor does not recommend any testing at this time. She stated that the puppy’s ears were dirty and asked if I wanted them to clean them. I agreed and tried asking again if they would test my puppy for infections or sicknesses. When the tech brought Annie back out to me she reiterated that the doctor does not recommend bloodwork or testing at this time. Instead she sent us home with herbal supplements to “detox” Annie from the vaccines and an immune “booster” to help her fight off the “toxins” from the vaccines. I was told to give her the supplements, change her food and monitor her for TWO weeks before a follow up. I paid the outrageous $209, never once got to speak to the actual vet and went home without a bit of comfort or confidence from that visit. I spent the next few hours watching my puppy deteriorate and went with my gut. I rushed her to another facility and that’s when it became very clear that Animal House did no form of a medical evaluation on my dog, they didn’t even take her temperature. The vet at this new hospital called me immediately telling me my puppy has a fever of 105 and an elevated white blood cell count clearly pointing toward an infection. Annie was HOSPITALIZED that night to get the fever down. After a long weekend of fluids, antibiotics, antinflammatories, testing and pain management we have found out that Annie has Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy. She was in an obscene amount of pain and if I had listened to Animal House would have unnecessarily suffered for two weeks before her follow up. That is completely inhumane. This vet was completely NEGLIGENT and REFUSED to provide appropriate care to my dog. Please DO NOT let this happen to another animal or pet owner. This was an absolutely unnecessary traumatic experience for this poor puppy. I will be spreading the word to prevent anybody else having to go through this. Please take Animal House off Angie’s list.

Slight delay in seeing the vet but otherwise happy with experience. Showed genuine concern for our pet, thoroughly examined him and accurately diagnosed condition.

They are completely dog friendly and people friendly to as oppose to some other vet clinics. They get excited every time you bring your dog in and you feel like they actually care about your dog and they do boarding and when they do that you can have it so they will take your dog out for a walk five times a day and give them an extra snack and everything so you don't feel guilty that they are just trots up all there long wonder to walk but they are getting out pretty regular so I like that. One of the best there I think it might be their main vet I'm not sure but she had trained them holistic veterinary medicine so you can get a holistic assessment of your dog and I have never seen anywhere else before. That are the main things but I would say that they are friendly though. Everyone there loves animals. I cannot use them because I move to Colorado.

They are friendly. They have really good customer service. They remember who you are and they call your pet by name. They also have alternative to conventional medicine if you wanted to use holistic medicine for your pet.
