Javier is generally quick to respond is very courteous. His demeanor caused me to overlook flags in his work to my detriment. He generally doesn't put his bids in writing causing double payment ie the walls were to be insulated ready for Sheetrock in the original job of supporting the ceiling then insulating became a job of its own that cost over . He installed all of the windows with nails instead of screws explained it away as the windstorm code had changed. The tile he installed was not laid out prior to setting there is a 1/2 strip of tiles along the edge of the room. The Sheetrock should have cost taken 10 days. In fact I paid him over the job drug out for 7 weeks. When he was ready to paint- he did paint 3 rooms there were huge cracks nails showing tape showing rock standing up holes. When Javier was confronted he agreed he did not do acceptable work. He hired another contractor to correct the rock problems- but did not include the rooms already painted. He said this contractor was his responsibility he would pay for him. On the new guy first day Javier asked me to cut a check to him for 500. After writing more checks to the new contractor to talking this contractor said he was finished. This contractor uninstalled a door Javier had installed because there was no header. Javier said the door didnt need a header. Javier borrowed money then incorporated it into the price. In the end Javier asked to borrow money for a nail gun because his had blown up. He did not use the correct gun for installing the Harding plank every nail is 1/4 from flush. The painted rooms had visible tape on the joints ceiling paint all over the walls wall paint over the ceilings. There was a daubing technique used that had drips. The Windows were not installed level or level with each other. Every meal they threw their trash all over the job site I regularly brought in my own team to clean up after them. At one point Javier had 5 family members working for him. Instead of cleaning up they stayed in their phones. For the last 2 weeks Ive had another contractor framing doors windows repairing the rock cracks where we found there was no tape at all. Javier has been paid 4-5k for work not completed such as the sheet rock repairs finishing the add on installing the ac. we had to make the decision to cut our ties take the loss so we could at least stop the bleeding. Javier would be a good hire for a small handyman day job but he did not manage his people materials or time. 3 months later I am finally finishing the Sheetrock after the 3rd repair. I have a new ac install bid for 1800 for additional work paid to Solis to finish and get the duct work sealed off and up to code.

The quality of their work was very good, though not excellent.

I had hire a handyman that cancelled at the last minute. I called Javier at 8:00am and he returned my call 10 minutes later. He was over in 15 minutes and gave me a quote on how much it would cost to do the work. He did an amazing job and really helped me out. I am in new in Beaumont and did not know any handymen. Apparently a good one that is reasonalbly priced is hard to find. He was very personalble and really knows his stuff. He is couming back next weekend to hang a huge headborad and 2 more TV's.

These guys do it all and they're good. Their prices are very competitive. Most recent project they did for me was to replace wood on my entire home with Hardy. When I first bought my house they did all the remodeling for me. Remodeled downstairs bathroom, expanded and remodeled upstairs bath, rebuilt staircase, tiled floors, painted rooms, replaced windows, they even worked on my a/c unit to make it hang in there another few years. They are good.

He does exterior and interior work. I have used him for both over the past three years. He is very honest and his prices are very good too. I think he does great work.
