My mom lives many states away in a VERY old mobile home. Her electricity was spotty, which was making me nervous. I called Mr Sparky and they went out to troubleshoot. Before Hollis left that day, he made some adjustments simply because some of the wires had melted TO THE WALLS and he didn’t feel comfortable leaving it as it was. He went back with an apprentice several days later to rewire and take care of the rest. My mom said Hollis and his apprentice were personable and thorough. She’s so excited to have working lights and heat and I’m more happy than I can say that she’s not going to burn down in her home. I cannot begin to convey the thanks I feel for you taking care of my mom, Mr Sparky (and Hollis, specifically).

Prompt and courteous Hollis did an excellent job on each item on my list.
Have had to have him out a couple of times because I had to get parts for the pool light.
I finally had to buy a new one. The next call is for him to install it.

A technician came out the same day that I called and provided me with an estimate. They charge a flat rate and not by the hour so if it takes them an hour or all day it is the same price. I really liked that. My breaker box was installed the next day before I got home from work. I loved it and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very efficient and polite. Helped me move furniture inside house to make access to power for outside outlet. Cleaned up afterwards and moved furniture back himself. Very professional. A little pricey but will call them for any future electrical problems.

I have gone back and checked our records and we offered to come out and bid the job with a 59 dollar travel fee that would be taken off the bill if we did the work. Mister Sparky came out on time. He inspected and tested my home and we discussed things that were appropriate. He gave me an estimate in a timely, but it just wasn't time to do it yet. It was a very large job and a large modification to the house. We opted not to go that route, at that time. He knew what he was talking about. I work in a technical field as well, and I felt comfortable that he was a competent electrician and what he was suggesting made sense. He was pretty straight forward and he didn't mess around at all, trying to get extra work.

Hollis and Juan came in the previous day to give us an estimate of everything that we needed done.  They charge $59 for the estimate but they deduct that amount if they do the work.  They were late coming to do the work because of an emergency on a previous job.  However, when they arrived they started working right away and they knew what they were doing.  Not only were they knowledgeable, but they are personable and honest.  They come prepare to do the work and nothing is too much for them.  Excellent company.

They were very fast to get here.  The blown fuse kept my AC from coming on.  July without AC is miserable.  They didn't have my particular fuse but went to Lowes and was back in no time.  Whole thing took less than 45 minutes.  Didn't charge for the time that they had to go to Lowes.  They had to charge me the overtime hour rate but the fuse and labor was only $237.00.  Could have saved money by waiting until regular hours the next morning but I didn't want to do without AC all night.  I would definitely use them again.

"We informed the customer that if we did the job we would wave the travel fee. Mister sparky is a service company and we do not usually rewire whole houses. We are willing to do estimates for free when we can work them in when we are in the area and do not make a special trip to job. The reason we and most contractors charge a travel fee is due to the cost of fuel and paying a drug tested, background checked employee."
