Mister Sparky

My mom lives many states away in a VERY old mobile home. Her electricity was spotty, which was making me nervous. I called Mr Sparky and they went out to troubleshoot. Before Hollis left that day, he made some adjustments simply because some of the wires had melted TO THE WALLS and he didn’t feel comfortable leaving it as it was. He went back with an apprentice several days later to rewire and take care of the rest. My mom said Hollis and his apprentice were personable and thorough. She’s so excited to have working lights and heat and I’m more happy than I can say that she’s not going to burn down in her home. I cannot begin to convey the thanks I feel for you taking care of my mom, Mr Sparky (and Hollis, specifically).

They just got right on the problem and got it fixed.

Prompt and courteous Hollis did an excellent job on each item on my list.
Have had to have him out a couple of times because I had to get parts for the pool light.
I finally had to buy a new one. The next call is for him to install it.
I am really happy with the work he has done.

A technician came out the same day that I called and provided me with an estimate. They charge a flat rate and not by the hour so if it takes them an hour or all day it is the same price. I really liked that. My breaker box was installed the next day before I got home from work. I loved it and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had an excellent experience with them. They gave me a bid. They responded within 24 hours. I have been using them for over 3 years. I had various technicians. I highly recommend these guys and I don't consider anyone else in my work. Pricing was excellent.

Very efficient and polite. Helped me move furniture inside house to make access to power for outside outlet. Cleaned up afterwards and moved furniture back himself. Very professional. A little pricey but will call them for any future electrical problems.

He has been wonderful.  They were fine.

Hollis and Juan came in the previous day to give us an estimate of everything that we needed done.  They charge $59 for the estimate but they deduct that amount if they do the work.  They were late coming to do the work because of an emergency on a previous job.  However, when they arrived they started working right away and they knew what they were doing.  Not only were they knowledgeable, but they are personable and honest.  They come prepare to do the work and nothing is too much for them.  Excellent company.

They were very fast to get here.  The blown fuse kept my AC from coming on.  July without AC is miserable.  They didn't have my particular fuse but went to Lowes and was back in no time.  Whole thing took less than 45 minutes.  Didn't charge for the time that they had to go to Lowes.  They had to charge me the overtime hour rate but the fuse and labor was only $237.00.  Could have saved money by waiting until regular hours the next morning but I didn't want to do without AC all night.  I would definitely use them again.

very well ! they worked with the entergy co. I work off shore they talked w/ me over the phone things went along very well,even though the rain in texas w/ trying to trench for conduit.

We decided not to call him back. We are just keeping the fan plugged in so the bathroom light will work. We'll probably call someone else to come fix it.

major problem of main circuit breaker going off, up to four times a day. Mr Sparky technician evaluated and fully explained the problem.
Age of house and minimum meeting of requirements during build led up to this failure. Technician also explained all to be done and why.

We just bought a house in Katy that is almost 20 years old. Therefore, I looked at reviews on Angie's List to find someone to do the electrical work that our house inspector recommended. Mr. Sparky got good reviews, so I scheduled them to the work. The electrician, Tony, arrived and did his own thorough inspection and then came up a list of jobs and costs. I choose seven items from his list of nine. Later, I had some kitchen remodeling done and the GFCI in the kitchen that he replaced tripped and would not reset. So he made another trip to the house and even thought the GFCI he replaced was not faulty, he was able to get things going in the kitchen again at no extra cost.
I have to admit that the cost for the work seemed expensive, but I am confident that the work done is top quality. The people at Mr. Sparky really do work hard to satisfy their customers.
