Very well. Mr. Askew was quite professional. All concerns were brought to our attention at the time they were discovered. They were then listed in final report. We were completely at ease the entire time. He did a thorough job.

He showed up on time, was friendly and professional, and extremely thorough! He took his time and checked everything very carefully. He was also patient with our questions and did not seem to be in a rush to get us out of his way so he could move on. I would definitely use him again!

I had to cancel services at the last minute for personal reasons but he was very professional, responsive and punctual. I am using him again and in fact scheduling an appointment this week for another inspection.

Joe arrived early and so did I so we started early. He began the plumbing flow testing and looked for dead tiles with a golf ball - an indicator of slab movement. He questioned one of the toilet supply valves being turned off and a rocky toilet mount in the master bath. Joe ran the furnace and AC through their paces taking temp samples at the living space registers NOT OFF OF THE PLENUM IN THE ATTIC! Tested all appliances and noted that the installed garbage disposal brand was known to be one of the loudest. He made common sense suggestions about upgrades and most likely first needed replacements (the water heater). I was worried about the roof. Using a set of binoculars Joe noted a patched area on the roof (probably Ike or Rita) but said the roof overall was in normal condition for its age. Joe is licensed to do the pest inspection and did one during the house inspection. We went into the attic last and Joe inspected the furnace heat exchanger with his pest inspection fiber optic camera at my request. Joe was a consumate professional throughout. He finished up by providing contact info for local craftsman that he trusted as a resource. I received the electronic report the next day after a brief computer equipment delay. Joe kept me informed the whole time.

Performed home inspection for 18 year old home. Joe askew came on time, and spent more than 3 hours showing us what was good and what needed fixing. Several items are safety related. He made recommendations of how to fix the problems.

I'm buying a home and didn't know who to call, so I looked on Angie's List and found great reviews for this company. Joe was great. He was very through, answered all of my questions, and explained everything he was doing and checking for. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a home inspection or termite inspection.

I was really impressed by his professionalism. He was punctual, knowledgeable,responsive and very detailed and thorough in his work. He took great care to go over all his observations with me and answered all of my questions. I would hire him again in the future and feel comfortable referring him to friends and family.

Joe gave a quote that the owners did accept. They asked that he perform the service in August. I had put this on my backburner and had not run across my notes to call him. On August 1, Joe called me to remind me that we were in August and was I ready to schedule the termite treatment. He had my back and I appreciated his initiative to call me and not wait for me to call him. He scheduled the call for the next day and arrived as promised and called when the job was complete. He delivered his warranty to my office by hand.

I had a tenant call to alert me to swarming termites. I had mentioned this to Joe at a business meeting. He offered to check it out for me free of charge. A pest control company would have charged me for the inspection. He said that often, the swarms are ants and not termites. However, he did find evidence of termites in an outside building. He was just certified to exterminate termites, so he will be doing the work as soon as his equipment arrives!

House Masters inspector Joe Askew came out to our house and was VERY professional. We had just inherited the house and was in a position to where we needed to figure out if we should pursue with remodeling or tear down. Joe came out and inspected everything. I've never had someone as thorough or particular about everything. I have no doubt that I can remodel now thanks to him.
