They originally estimated my single mother(I live in Houston) of $400, and then charged $1,400 and argued that it was over triple the price because they charged for wire nuts, and 3 techs. 1 of the techs literally never stood up. Once he got there, he remained seated and watched, as he was an apprentice(although they didn't charge a lesser fee for him to do nothing), and 1 other was gone for 4 hours to get "supplies"(Most likely on another job at the same time). I told my mother to never pay that amount. D&H ended up filing a lawsuit for the outstanding balance, and given that I know about 40 lawyers in Beaumont, we obtained one free of charge, and successfully won our lawsuit. We then filed a countersuit for Deceptive Trade Practices and won that as well. I would highly recommend staying far far away from these amateurs.
