Don listened to our problem and he checked the faucets in the master bath.  He was concerned that it was a problem in the wall but when we explained some of the changes that had recently taken place in the house he had another thought.  We'd had an icemaker line added recently and when it was done the person tapped into the wrong line in the wall.  By turning off the hot water to a bar sink Don was able to provide us cold water in the bathroom again.  (an expensive lesson on being certain the person doing work is a licensed plumber).
Don also checked the holes in the wall under the sinks and suggested that a carpenter might be able to fix them and he would give us the name of someone.  He also thought he might be able to get a part for a couple of places that would cover the holes.
Overall it was a worthwhile visit and we will call on him again in the future if we need a plumber!

Don was very professional. He was on time (actually early) and performed the work at hand very quickly. His pricing was the best in town. I will use AMC again.

My water bill had doubled, and the water company told me I probably had a leak somewhere. Someone else told me to look at my meter, and that if the red star/asterisk looking thing was turning even when no water was running, that was a pretty sure sign that I had a leak.
Also, one of my toilets had stopped working. Made the appointment a few days ago, and got a call from the guy last night reaffirming everything. He showed up this morning on time, got the work done, cleaned up afterwards, and charged a fair price. In addition, he was polite and looked and acted professional. He also gave me an estimate on replacing a bathtub. Everything went great.

AMC did an awesome job. I was not sure whether I should contact a septic tank service or a plumber. After speaking with AMC and describing the problem, we mutually decided the septic tank service should be contacted first.
The day after the septic tank was pumped out, AMC came out to finish up the job. They were very professional, very well dressed and protrayed a professional image. I will most definitely use them again and again.

He quoted me a price over the phone, (eliminating the "service charge" to get an estimate). They showed up on time with all materials needed to complete the job. They were very efficient and clean. I have dealt with several contractors in my line of work and I have to say this guy is top notch. Would use hime any time. If you use some one else in this area you are doing yourself a disfavor.

He is very very good. He showed up right on time and finished the job quickly.

Came to inspect our existing toilets within one day of calling. They provided firm quote by next morning, and did installation by the third day. They were punctual and very professional. Will use them again when we update our bathroom shower.

We had another company in town come and give a quote on doing the interior piping for a new gas installation. They showed up 30 minutes late, the plumber looked like he just rolled out of bed, and was trying to case our house for a future robbery. Not to mention the price that was quoted to us was outrageous. So I checked Angies list looking for a good plumber to do the piping and came across AMC. We needed piping from where the meter would be outside, up the wall, and across the attic to drop down in our kitchen. I gave them a B on puncutality because the plumber was 45 minutes later than Don told us he would be. However, after that I have no other complaints what so ever. He did his work without being intrusive and in the rain for some of it. They even got the building permit for us and tried setting up the inspector for final inspection. The cost was less than half of the price quoted to us by the other company. I will definitely use AMC again!

I hope I never have to have a plumber again, but if I do, I certainly will call AMC. The story is above

Would recommend

I called AMC at about 12:15 pm after water had poured out from under a toilet while my washer was running. The problem was not with the washer or the toilet, but the drainage pipe that served them both. Being new to the area, I was happy to have a local recommendation from Angie's List! AMC was there within 30 minutes, though I did not request emergency service as the water was no longer leaking out. Don quickly diagnosed the problem and cleared the line. He was at my home only about an hour, but did not leave before waiting to make sure that the problem would not happen again when the washer drained. I'm very happy with the service Don provided and the reasonable charges incurred.

Made phone appointment. Punctual first visit. Clear explanation of the problem, work to be done and estimate of cost. Organized everything (buying of material etc.). Punctual second visit. Good and fast work. Cost close to the estimate. Overall professional and courteous

Saturday morning we noticed a gurgle noise coming from the bathroom. After attempting to plunge the toilets ourselves, we decided to contact a plumber. I contacted five other plumbers, and left messages with the answering services before calling Don. He "the owner" answered the phone the very first time, and was at my house in 30 min. After cleaning out our main drain he was unable to find the clog. He told us that the clog would be the cities responsibility. However, instead of just taking the $175 that he had quoted us to do the job, he went one step further and unclogged the drain at the cities end. We now are able to use the water again until the city can get out to make the repairs. He was fast, courteous, and went the extra mile. Would highly recommend, and will use again if we ever need a plumber. Oh, by the way......none of the other plumbers I left messages for have called back yet :)
