About us

Sewer Medic is an owner-operated business that specializes in sewer and drain line clean out. We clean main lines, tub, toilets and sinks. First : Honest, Fast, Reliable, Communicative. Sewer Medic came to my house after i had other Plumbing company sent by Home Warranty, the first vendor just made sure that all will be decline and was sure to leave me "Estimates". i insisted on another vendor to come out, and thankfully they sent Sewer medic. Sewer Medic Came twice, and to be honest,, i never believed that ill meet that kind of professionalism and kindness - sandy from the office was SOOOO Smart and efficient, she understood the situation immediately and solved all my issues. i highly recommend Sewer Medic from Plumbing works,,, they the BEST

Honest, Fast, Reliable, Communicative. They replaced our main sewer drain and are addressing old cast iron under the house. I've compared pricing, and these guys are the best value I've experienced with a plumbing group. Sewer main replacement crew even broke up the old concrete pipe to fill a small sink hole that had formed where the pipe had collapsed.

Was quoted by the owner, J., $250 on Feb 11, 2022. Was then told by the warranty company, American Home Shield, AHS, that there should be no charge. When tech showed up I told him I was told there would be no charge. After disconnecting 3 galvanized joints, the Sewer Medic office called and said the cost to repair was $200. I said that I was told by AHS that there was no payment and asked for an invoice while tech was still on the job. I received a $450 invoice via email with tech still working. I asked to speak to the owner, and he said that AHS was paying $150, and that the rest of the job cost $150. J insisted that the tech complete the repair, which I allowed. I do not know how much I owe and feel scammed. I cleaned up the tech's mess after he left, and from the packaging he left behind determined that $50 of parts was used. I still have large holes in my ceiling.

This company is a total rip off. The company was selected by American Home Sheild and was a nightmare from the beginning. One man comes out to access what needs to be done. Another is scheduled to do the repairs. The man shows up at my door and says "Hey" not addressing who he is. He acted like he was stoned. He goes to the hot water heater and comes in the kitchen and turns the water on and says " You dont have water?" We have not had water for a week which he should have been told by the previous person. Seriously??? He starts taking the old water heater out and then goes outside to talk on the phone. I wait 15 minutes. I asked him what is going on? He said another guy is bringing a part . I had to wait another 15 minutes. Unreal!! I told him he should have had all the supplies he needed on his truck. He shows me the new drain pan he was putting in which we did not have before. By the time he left it was all bent up while installing the hot water heater. Another guy showed up with the other part and never said a word to me. After the installation I asked the original person if there is anything I need to know. He said no and handed me the book that came with the hot water heater. I asked if I need to read this and he said yes. Who reads the entire book that comes with a hot water heater?? I asked for paper work . He said the office would send. He barely said 3 words to me. He also left a mess!!! I called the office to complain and they got very defensive which is not how you run a business. They have a lot to learn. The lady said that plumber just does not talk much. I said when you deal with the public you communicate. He could care less about being nice to people. She said he was one of our best plumbers. She also said he told her that he told me he had another part to put on. I told her he DID NOT tell me because I asked him if there is anything I need to know. My husband got home and found out on top of this nightmare they put in a 40 gallon instead of the 50 gallon we had. Also it was not put up to code. After letting American Home Shield everything the company did the company called back and said they would send someone else back to check. It has been a week and nobody has called or showed up! I would NOT recommend this company. BEWARE!!

Like others here this company was picked for me by a warranty service. Which I regret trusting both of them now. Issue was water heater related. Dude was running water to test stuff which is what one would expect. But what he neglected to tell me was that one of the sinks was mostly full of water and the stopper was stuck. The sewer medics get on their high horse with "he was there for the water heater." Which I agree with, the problem is the guy didn't have the courtesy to let me know what else had happened. Furthermore their technicians definitely need help understanding owner manuals. He sat there and told me "I don't think this should even work here because the lowest pressure it should work at is 150 and the highest is 300 and you won't get that in a house." The documents show that 150 is the max it's recommended and 300 is what absolutely breaks at during testing. ??‍♂️

Part was replaced. worker over-tightened while re-assembling faucet and is binding and difficult to turn on and off and to swing left and right. Also was loosened from the mounting nut while trying to make the repair. Was charged $75 for this inferior work. I called them several days later to complain about the problem. The same guy, Demarkus I think was his name came back to check out the problem. He wanted to charge me $75 more to fix the problems that he did while trying to do the job. He left in a huff and nothing was accomplished. I am going have to call in a reputable plumber to do the job. I would not recommend this company to do any work of any kind for anyone. Buyer beware!

Something was jammed down in the line, not sure what it was, but is was causing a back flow into the backyard. That jet nozzle quickly removed the item and after a day, water began to recede.
