I just have to say that when looking for a real estate agent I follow Dave Ramsey's advice.  He says to find a real estate agent that has the heart of the teacher who really wants to match your house to you rather than just making money off the particular transaction.  That was exactly our experience with Linda.  She really took us under her wing.  She showed us what was out there and many different types of things so we could kind of see what was available in the area.  We were new to the area.  She also helped us to find a house that we didn't even really consider.  We wanted to look at this other house and she thought this might be more suited for what we needed.  We looked at it and had a few reservations, because it wasn't quite what we originally thought we wanted.  But, then she was able to figure out a way to make the house the way we wanted it.  It was mainly because the kitchen wasn't opened up the way I wanted it to be.  Otherwise, I loved it.  She was able to get us set up with a contractor to open up the kitchen.  It's now my dream home and I would have never consider it before.  It was really due to her and her looking out for our bets interests.  If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have been nearly as happy.
