Called to request an estimate, and was told they would have to see it to estimate it. Driver got lost on the way to the house, but called several times to update me and was apologetic upon arriving. They walked through the house for estimation purposes, all the while telling me how fair and honest they were. They ended up quoting $350 for the whole house which I reluctantly approved. Here is where I have an issue; had they quoted me $350 over the phone I would have told them to take a hike, but I didn't insist on a ballpark phone quote, so I was vulnerable to the hard sell when they got to my place. It's my fault, I could have said no, so I will live with my mistake. I just want others to be aware of their estimating style beforehand. Work was done quickly and they did a nice job. No complaints about that.
