BETTY'S FLOWER SHOP

GORGEOUS! Betty's is a small flower shop in Baytown, so normally they dont' deliver to most of Houston for just a bouquet - who can pay the gas on that in this economy? But given we ordered a full casket spray they didn't hesitate to take the order to a Houston funeral homecsd I was told that casket flowers go $150-250, and that was my experience in Texas. We opted for $250 to get a very full and beautiful look for grandma. I discussed with him no really bright colors, like yellow or orange, as we wanted pinks and lavendars for grandma. I also discussed using some less expensive flowers instead of lots of expensive flowers so we could get a more full look - would rather have a gorgeous selection of lots of flowers, than a sparse selection of roses and expensive flowers. The flowers arrrived at the funeral home a few hours before the viewing, and they were absolutely gorgeous! Most people in the family thought we must have spent $500-800 as it was so amazing. There were lots of roses and lilies and other expensive flowers, but such an amazing amount of other flowers as well. It was one of the most beautiful casket sprays ever, and grandma would have loved it. They didn't put loud colors in just as we requested, and we couldn't have pictured anything more beautiful. As we had picked out the least epensive casket possible given limited means, this dressed up the casket and made all the difference. We were so happy.
