About us

Starchaser Woodworks is a new Austin based Custom Woodwork company specializing in Reclaimed Wood, Exterior Wood Projects, Upcycled/ Repurposed Home Decor and Repurposed Furniture. Most projects we complete are made with reclaimed wood sourced from Austin, Tx and a few surrounding areas. We have a passion to preserve and reuse wood that would be headed to our local landfills. Some outdoor projects will be made with new wood, again sourced from a local provider and can look vintage/ reclaimed if requested.

This is one of the worst experiences of my life. $1,600 is a lot for a young first-time homeowner, and I feel like I'm getting taken advantage of. He continues to stay in contact and tell me how it's my fault for losing $1,600. If you think about working StarChaser I highly advise against it. They have horrible ethics and make feel furious on a daily basis. He even signed a contract which he never followed through with. Attached is the contract.
Description of Work: Just bought a new house and wanted s feature shiplap wall installed. The owner of the company came out and quoted us $1,600. Asked that we pay him up front so we did. He moved out of state the next day and hasn't paid us back out money. The job was never started.
