Austin We Fix It

Austin We Fix It is without a doubt the most dishonest, fraudulent and unprofessional company I have ever worked with. The company "Austin We Fix It" is basically Samuel (Sam) Tuttle and anyone else in his family he can get to help him or sub-par contractors. The work I hired Samuel Tuttle to do started in January of 2016. The work is still not finished and he will not come back. I had to threaten to sue him to get him to come back to do more work. I paid Sam for materials, but he spent the money on his truck payment (he said) and then disappeared for THREE months. He said he couldn't come back because he didn't have enough money to pick up the materials, which was only $660 - which I had already paid for with the advance I gave him. I ended up having to pay for the materials directly with the company so that Sam could finish the work. The quality of the work he and his crew deliver is deplorable. Happy to share pictures with anyone interested in seeing the "quality" of his work. The work I hired Sam Tuttle to do consisted of: * Interior painting - Walls, ceiling, trim * New porcelain tile floors * New crown * Cabinet stain/touch-up * Roof-top metal caps * New baseboards * Door trim & seals * Staining an outside deck Endless promises. "I can do anything", yet delivers very few and the ones that are delivered are so poorly done it's not worth the aggravation and frustration in the end. Austin We Fix It is basically a used car salesman company.... over promises, under delivers and always wants more money. More money up front yet can't seem to buy the necessary supplies and materials for the job, which causes projects to drag on for months and months. It's a shell game of getting money from new customers to get materials to finish or half finish a job started 3 months ago because you spent the client's money on anything but the materials to do their job. I would not recommend Samuel Tuttle or his company Austin We Fix IT to anyone for anything! I heard the same story month after month - "I'm out of money, I have so much other work to do, I need more money from you, I can't make my truck payment, I'm over-drawn in my checking account, can I get another advance" All things I have heard from Sam since February / March of 2016. BEWARE of using Sam Tuttle or Austin We Fix It for anything. I promise you... what he "says" is not what you get. Photos will be uploaded soon.

Sam is meticulous - a master at all of these tasks. There is no sign of a patch anywhere, and the work is more professional than someone who advertises him/herself as a  professional painter or tile setter or carpenter would do.  And he recycled tile boxes and cleaned up the paper masking afterwards! The closet looks better than it did before the pipe leak. We are really amazed by it.
Sam is a really nice person to have around, and he was with us for over a week, because each of the tasks required some waiting period for paint/texturizer/?mud'/tile/caulk/grout, etc. to dry or cure. He had to drive for over an hour from his house for each visit. He is willing to work weekends to get the job done properly. He charges reasonable prices for all of the hours he spends on the job and in locating perfectly matching baseboards, grout, etc. and in driving to and from the job. He saved all of his receipts to share with us.
We look forward to calling on Sam again when another pipe breaks and/or we have storm damage or think of something else to remodel. Sam also received the seal of approval from Lucky who is missing him today. Thank you, Sam, for making a great experience out of a scary one. You did a beautiful job!
(The cost of service above is approximate - my husband wrote a check for partial service initially and then another for the rest which included labor and materials. I don't remember how much it was exactly. )

Austin We Fix It did a great job!  Within a few days of first contacting Sam, he was already in the home constructing the walls, and was finished by the end of the week.  And they look great!  He was courteous, efficient, friendly, and professional.  I would highly recommend Austin We Fix It for all of your renovation and remodeling needs.

Sam at Austin We Fix It was truly a refreshing experience for us. This was our third estimate with other providers that just never called us back or took over a week to provide a proposal. Sam came and measured very quickly and gave us a fair price and estimate immediately.

Him and his crew were at the store that was holding our french doors the next day, picking up and delivering the doors to our house. It was amazing to us to have such a quick turnaround. What I really enjoyed was sharing with him our frustrating experiences with installers thus far and him actually listening and caring. He squeezed our job in quickly in the middle of his other job and I was very impressed by him as a person.

So, onto the job... they installed the doors very well that same day. And thank goodness they had a very careful eye to detail, quality and longevity. I say longevity because they were aware of protecting the exterior from wood rot, and caring for the interior trim to look the best possible aesthetically.

I highly recommend his services and plan on using him for other handyman jobs and remodels in the future.
