Affordable House Cleaning

Lori and her team did an outstanding job. I was so grateful for the fact that she was able to (1) move the appointment one day ahead when we found out that we needed to move sooner than we had thought and (2) on the actual day of the appointment, she was able to shift it somewhat due to the fact that our movers were going to be late in arriving to move everything out of the house in time for Lori and her team to start cleaning. Another thing -- while they were in another part of the house working, I decided to clean my stove top a bit -- one of her team members saw me doing this and gently told me to "put that down" -- "that's what we're here to do" -- "there is no need for you to clean anything." He smiled -- I smiled -- and I put down my sponge. :-) I was so impressed with their service that I gave them a nice tip.

They were on time. Extremely polite and did a very thorough job cleaning. Am definitely using again.

The wood floors shined; the house smelled amazingly clean; the bathrooms sparkled; everything was fabulous.  The price was amazing fair given the size of our house.  We love the work Lori and her team do during the monthly cleaning.  We highly recommend them for anyone considering cleaning services.

This isn't the first time we've used Affordable Housecleaning. We love the services she provides. Lori is punctual, professional and her prices are among the most reasonable we've found anywhere. Our dogs get excited to see her when she opens her car door. They clearly love her and enjoy their time with her. Our house is always spotless when we arrive back home. I'd recommend her highly to anyone looking for someone to trust with their loved ones and home. The above is the price for a three night stay, with pet sitting and daily plant care. My plants always look better when I get home than when I left. :)

Lori and her team did an excellent job! This was my first time using them and they definitely exceeded expectations. The house was spotless, smelled wonderful and it was a joy to come home to a clean house.

I had Lori clean my home for my daughter graduation. There are 6 of us, so Lori had her work cut out. She got a bathtub sparkling white that i had an appt. to get refurbished. She got paint and grime off of it. It was incredible and she saved us 350.00. We got home and the house smelled wonderful, our hardwood floor were beautiful and clean. First of all it was awesome to find someone from the Elgin area to serve my house cleaning needs. I found Lori's business here at Angie's list. I called her and she was very prompt at calling me back to make arrangements to come out for an interview and quote for services. She and her partner Solomon were very agreeable and helpful at personalizing what services they would provide to meet my particular needs. I got a sense the two partners are quite organized --with each bringing their own strengths to the business.
On the day of service, they were on time and called about 30 minutes before arriving. They brought all of their own materials. split up the duties and got to work. Since this was a first visit, there was some deep cleaning that took place and of course took a little longer but this was expected. They have young crew members working with them and I noticed they were intent on teaching the newest helpers thorough cleaning methods and procedures. I had some suggestions for my preferences on a couple of things. They were well received and followed up on. I am VERY please with this first visit and the results of their work effort.
One thing noticeable, they are a very happy group of workers and this was at the END of their long day!

I really like her because she is really nice. I like the way she cleans my house. She is quick. She is professional and leaves the house clean. She did a good job, quick and thorough. She is very thoughtful. She cleans the part in case you come back that you that you are going to be using the most like the kitchen will be done. I have little kids so the kitchen will be done first and after this she gets the other job done.

The team did a great job. They made my dusty and dirty house shine. They were very attentive to my wishes.

Lori came to my house to clean for 3 hours. When she showed up, she went right to work. She had been there two previous times. After the third visit I asked why she had not swept and mopped under my trash can / animal food and water dish. She explained that she did not pick up those things.....that if I wanted them cleaned then I was to move everything out of her way (A TRASH CAN????) After I had already decided not to invite her back, I noticed several days later I had reason to go into my son's bathroom. While in there, I pulled back the shower curtains only to see that she did not been cleaning the shower walls and the outside of the bathtub. I thought that the shower walls and outside of the bathtub were PART of the bathroom????
