Affordable A/C & Heating

July 2017 OAT +101 (F) -one of my AC units stopped working. I called them at 3:30 P.M. Wed. and they tried to to help me that same day , but of course, with the temps in the 100's they were very busy with other emergencies. They got to me first thing the next day and had my A/C up and running within a few hours. Great service! Great communication! I would definitely recommend them. They will do all my future HVAC work.

These guys do good work, give good advice, and charge very competitive rates.

They are wonderful!! It was so hot in here my 3 year old kept opening the fridge to cool off. They were here within an hour and fixed it right away. I highly recommend them.

Went very well. AACH came right out which was desperately needed since today's forecast is pretty high. Nice family run business, 3 generations. They were able to troubleshoot and fix it right away. Ii came out an easy fix with just needing the capacitor replaced. No charge for the service call. I will definitely use this business again for all my HVAC needs.

They did a great job and were really helpful. They were on time and did the job in a timely manor. The owner even came out and gave me his number to call for any questions. They have great customer service.

The guy was just phenomenal.  We liked that when he came out, he did an assessment of what we needed.  He kind of laid it out for us and we had to do some things to replace another board on our a/c, rather than just saying that it would cost so much to get it.  He gave me options to see if we could find the part independently.  If we could then he would charge a minimal fee to come in and to put back into to make the a/c work correctly.  We did some things and he came in temporarily to make it work until we could find an a/c to replace it.  We called him that time and had him consider our a/c system back again.  We appreciated his honesty.  When he came in, he spent a good 45 minutes to figure out what the issue was.  He didn't even charge us for the service because he couldn't fix it with what he had.  If it needs to be charged then he would have to order things.  They are doing best for the people in this economy get what they want to get.

The installation went well. They put in a smaller unit after checking our square footage and insulation rating in attic and the type of windows we have installed. They said our current unit was larger than what was needed and keeping the same size would end up causing the unit to recycling more (cut on/off), thus causing more wear and tear on unit and electrical costs.  It was our choice as to what size we wanted installed. We went with smaller unit and it works great and saved us $$$ by going down in size.. We were also told if we are not satisfied with the unit within one year, we could change it out for the larger unit.  We had some issues with the cleanup (this was a new crew). I called and they sent a supervisor out and the mess was cleaned up. He also checked the work that was done on the installation.  After having the unit for several weeks they did an follow up call to check to make sure the unit was working properly for us and inspect the unit. Great having the follow up and customer service. This is a great company with excellent service and also looking at saving money for the customer.

We have used Affordable Air twice. We had a new unit installed in May of 2011, after the wonderful experience we had with Sam we knew immediately who we would call for our system when we had to rebuild our home. Sam is patient, ON TIME, and very honest, even if the honest answer will be less expensive. I would use Sam and Affordable A/C again in an instant.

Affordable took time to find a parts supplier to honor the warranty to a system.  This was not a small undertaking.  They were prepared to install the same day they located the part. I appreciate the promptness of response, detailed answers to questions and courteous employees.

Affordable A/C & Heating did find a couple of problems that needed to be fixed and they did full maintenance on both units.However, they missed a problem in one of the units which required me to hire another company just one month later to do the final fix on the A/C unit.

Great company to deal with. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would, how they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't have any problem answering the thousands of questions I had. Sam is a great guy to work with and follows through on his promises. Huge plus with a company like this....I never have a problem getting someone to answer the phone. No voicemail tag here.

The service call went very well. They were punctual and courteous in scheduling the call as well as performing the service. They found a couple of minor flaws in my system that the builder did not take care of. Overall, I would recommend this company.

Went very well. They showed up on time, diagnosed the problems and fixed it immediatley. They never asked for any money until the job was 100% complete and I was satisfied. They have gone back to check on work and make a few modifications without any charge. I will use them for every job I get.

The technician was very professional and competent. He wasted no time in getting started and gave my two units a better checkout than I expected, including several minutes in the attic on a very hot day. After his preliminary survey he gave me a thorough and understandable report of the condition of my system and the recommended repairs. With my approval of the estimate, he added three pounds of refrigerant and cleaned the condensors of both units and showed me the improvement in head pressures and cooling. I would use this company anytime I need service.

We contacted Sam Hughston at recommendation of another contractor; when our air conditioning system broke down.Sam was very prompt in responding and was able to get workers out to our house within 2 days. He called each step of the way to let us know what to expect and when. Sam discussed with us a number of options with respective costs. Roy and Issac were the two technicians who completed the installation. Both were very professional and efficient. The next day, we received a call from Sam to follow-up and make sure everything was working to our satisfaction.

They were on time and got the job done in a timely manner. They did the job and shortly afterward I had a house fire so they came back and did the job again. I would highly recommend them they are a great company.
