Colleen made 2 preliminary visits to meet me and my dog  because I  called a few weeks before I actually  needed her services.
She was very good with my dog and I was comfortable leaving him and my house in her care. She texted updates to me several times while I was away which was reassuring. I will definitely hire her again.

I loved Colleen and her service.  She was very responsive, sent me a text update while we were gone, and the animals were happy when we returned.  Definitely would use her again.

Colleen is great about up-dating you on the welfare of your animals..which I love! She took pictures and messaged me so I was very comfortable about leaving them to go to France with my husband..A FIRST! She is a pleasure and I will definetely  use her again!!

Colleen did a great job, the dogs were well taken care of.  They seemed very happy when we returned.  The instructions were somewhat complicated but she did a great job.  I would highly recommend her. 

Perfect! It is the first time i have hired a pet sitter and it opens up a lot of possibilities for my husband and I to actually go out of town together...WOW! I love Colleen ..she sent me texts and pictures of my pets so I was completely at ease...And I had happy campers waiting for me when I got home!

I don't like to use the phone much so I emailed Colleen to see if she operated in my area.  We immediately set up an appointment for her to come meet the animals.  She showed up on time and on my schedule. I liked her immediately.  Part of her service is to check mail and water plants but I didn't need help with those things.  She also offered to email me daily reports on how my animals were doing. Instead, I asked her to contact me only if something were wrong.  The good news is that I didn't hear from her!  When I returned home, my animals were happy and not starved for attention.  She even left us a bag of cat treats (that my cats now are addicted to) as a thank you for our business.  I would (and will) use her again in a heartbeat.  It was a great feeling to be on vacation and not worry about the animals and whether they were okay.

The dogs were so much happier than when they went to the kennel!  Colleen checked on my pets and house twice a day while we were on vacation for Thanksgiving (3 full days and 2 half days), and she did a great job taking care of the dogs and keeping the litter clean for the cats (they weren't even mad at me for leaving!).  I felt so comfortable with her that I didn't ask for daily updates, but it gave me peace of mind to know she'd call if anything was wrong.  I would hire her again and I already have!  (future report).  This is a great alternative to boarding the dogs:  they're happy, it costs a lot less, the cats are checked on, and I know the house isn't falling apart!

Colleen visited my house to describe her services and quote me a price about a month before I traveled. During the week before I traveled she came to my home to re-acquaint herself with my three dogs and to go over details of their schedules. When I returned the dogs were fat and sassy and seemd perfectly happy, so it appears that they were well taken care of.

Colleen was very thorough; I felt confident that my two Siamese cats were well cared for and attended to throughout my time away from home. She checked in daily to report on my kitties' progress and took time to play with them with their favorite toys (which she asked about ahead of time). She even was thoughtful enough to leave behind a parting gift of their favorite treats upon our return. I would high recommend Happy Tails and will certainly use Colleen's service in the future. My cats are definitely spoiled and it was a true comfort having someone as trustworthy as Colleen taking care of them and my home.

Perfect. Service was excellent and Colleen did a great job. Would certainly use them again when we go on vacation instead of kennel. Dogs were happy when we returned and looked great. She even left them a bag of dog treats and a personal thank you note. She also, kept a log everyday of what she did. Very organized and very loving toward the dogs. Highly recommend, great value.

Colleen came to our house twice a day to feed the animals and to spend time with them. At the end of each day we received an email of the activities and the animals behavior. Colleen walked the dogs down the street and played with them as well. She emailed us detailed descriptions and when we came home there were treats for our animals. We were gone for 4 days and found our animals in excellent health when we returned.
