After about 3 partial days of work on the house, DRR Properties claimed to have completed their work. However, when I inspected the house, about half of the tasks were partially completed, not even started, or done incorrectly. When I presented these facts to Mr. Lopez, he was combative and argumentative, and did not offer to fix any of the incompleted task for the originally quoted price. Instead, he demanded additional money to be paid in cash (and not by check, money order, or credit card) before he would perform any further work at the house. I did not agree to pay more than the originally quoted price for the work we originally agreed upon, so he never showed up again. I eventually paid a different handyman to complete the project that DRR Properties started but failed to complete.
In my opinion, Angie's List customers can find a more honest, reputable, and competent handyman contractor than DRR Properties.
"This occurred over 2 years ago and went to mediation through Home Advisors and was NOT found to be a legitimate complaint therefore his review was REMOVED from our ratings & reviews with Home Advisors. Now he is starting the same complaint with Angie’s list. Mr. [member name removed] and DRR Properties had a contract, which DRR Properties completed the work as noted in the contract. That is when Mr. [member name removed] became very unreasonable and unrealistic with all the work he wanted to add for free after knowing that all the additional work was not in the contract, which we both signed. He knows he found DRR Properties at Home Advisors and he tried to give us a negative review at Home Advisors, but after we submitted the contract and all the paper work to the Home Advisors mediation team, they found it not to be true what Mr. [member name removed] stated about DRR Properties and his negative review was removed from our ratings and reviews from Home Advisors. He only paid half down as per the contract, but still owes a balance for the completed work, which was specified in the contract. He still has any outstanding balance with DRR Properties. Please Google DRR Properties to see our ratings and reviews. We are hardworking, very detail oriented to get the job done right, which reflect our ratings and reviews. DRR Properties Inc.
