It was great. I've known Gary for 4 years, so there are no surprises with him. He's honest and ethical and a perfectionist.

Wonderful! I provided the paint and Gary provided the tools, dropcloths, etc. He is an "old maid" about every little detail being perfect which I appreciate! It probably takes him a little longer than the average painter, but it is because he is going over everything and doesn't stop until it's perfect! He is an extremely pleasant man which is an asset when one is "living" with a vendor in your home during a project. I'm aware he also does many other things such as exterior painting, landscaping and installs and stains wood fencing as well as installing electric gates. Although he hasn't yet done this for me, I wouldn't hesitate to have him do other odd jobs because I know they would be done well.
