**BUYER BEWARE** Worst service I could imagine. 4 months this has been going on and it’s been non stop weeds. Save your money because they will not refund you even if you get letters from the HOA saying you need to pull your weeds. Which I did multiple times.

Motto: Promises Kept Values: Commitment, Quality, Integrity After trying two other companies and having issues with results and communication I decided to try Weed Man. I requested a in person visit to evaluate my yard, discuss expectations, and provide an estimate. I was told the cost would be $81 OR get a free over the phone estimate. Having gone this route before, I decided to pay the $81 to determine if Weed Man was the right fit. The technician who come out was professional and courteous. We discussed areas of my concern and the two main issues I’ve had with previous companies, RESULTS and COMMUNICATION. He assured me that Weed Man could meet my expectations and would email me the report with a quote. Shortly after the visit I was charged $81.19. Two weeks go by, and I hadn’t received a report, an estimate or phone call. I called Weed Man explained to call taker T. that I had paid in full for a “in person” consultation, report, and written estimate and that it had been over two weeks with no communication from Weed Man. Due to not having received what I paid for, and lack of communication, I would like to just get a refund. She looked up my address and seemed to get agitated and said that the technician made it out to my house and began reading the technician notes as if to prove to me the tech come to my residence. Ironically she reads the technicians notes where he states the concerns I have about communication with other companies. I had to interrupt T. to clarify that I am not disputing that the tech didn’t come out, I am saying that I did not receive what I paid for, a in person visit, a report and estimate. I told her that at this point I don’t feel confident that Weed Man can meet customer expectations and would like a refund. T. said that Weed Man will not provide a refund because the tech came out to my residence. And I added, but Weed Man did not complete the service that I paid for and has failed to communicate with me. As it says in the notes you just read, communication is a major concern of mine that I told the technician. T. comes back and says the reason that I didn’t get the report is because Weed Man does not have my email address. I informed her that I provided my information when I made the appointment and asked the tech if he had my email. I again told her that I paid for a service that I did not completely receive. She again told me that Weed Man would NOT provide a refund. At this time, I asked to speak to a manager. T. told me that it will be a while because the manager is very busy. She said she would give the manager my information and that he would call me when he gets to it, and hangs up. At this pint I start laughing to myself. Ive just called Weed Man to request a refund due to not providing paid in full services and poor communications. Weed Man tells me that the reason they didn’t complete the service is because they didn’t have my email. Instead of asking or confirming that they have good contact information for the manager to call me back, T. hangs up! I immediately call Weed Man back to make sure they have my phone number to give the manager. A different lady, who is pleasant, answers the phone and tells me that T. was busy. I informed the nice lady that I just wanted to make sure Weed Man had a call back number for me, so the manager can call me back. She said yes, is it…… and reads my phone number. I confirmed and thanked her for her time. In conclusion, I paid in full for a service and did not receive the completed service. Weed Man gave the excuse that they didn’t have my email address, BUT they do have my home address and phone number. Its been over 48 hours and I have not received a refund or a call from the Weed Man manager. They must be really busy

Really terrible service. They will sell you a treatment plan, then refuse to actually fulfill the duration of the contract. STAY AWAY. Contracted Weed Man to treat our lawn as fall weeds began to emerge. Was assured that by prepaying ($250 for just Nov & Dec) I could call *any time* for re-treatment of persistent weeds and/or application issues. BUT after following their instructions to wait 14-21 days for December application to be effective (**it was not**), they claimed they'd already shutdown operations for the year (?!?) I only started treatment in November! Played phone tag with them & they dodged my calls until after the new year, then they claim that they'd be happy to do re-treatment as part of a new treatment plan/season. WHAT?? NO! You don't get MORE money for not following through with your existing contract!!

So I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Here is what happened and their worthless response to the BBB... Their employee pulled up in front of our house. He got out and left a bill on our front door for services rendered and drove off (according to Weedman, he was at my house a whole 10 minutes.. WOW). My wife was home and watched him and he did not apply anything to our yard. According to their response they only need 4 minutes to apply chemical to my yard... 4 MINUTES for both sides of the front yard, side yards, back yard and behind the fence. 4 MINUTES!!! No wonder I still have large weeds growing in my yard and have for months. Their customer service is awful. They expect payment, but can’t back they did the work. I can back the fact they did not with all the weeds in my yard. Cancelled their service and asked them to credit $47.50 for the last service. I even gave them a chance to correct this before posting all this. They chose not to. Here is their response to my BBB complaint (its all excuses): Our technicians do sit in the truck to perform the necessary paperwork on each visit, which is done after they have performed the treatment. The technician arrived at your home on 1/31/2020 at 8:42 AM, and left at 8:52 AM; we have tracking data for every truck. Therefore, it is impossible that he "pulled up in front of our house. Got out and left a bill on our front door for services rendered and drove off." It takes 4-5 min to apply the treatment to your size lawn; he even spot-treat a couple of weeds at that visit. What your lawn looks like today, ten weeks later, is not an indication that a previous application was not performed. Lawns are living organisms; they are affected by many environmental conditions and require regular attention. Golf courses do not look like they do from only giving it attention every 6-8 weeks; they attend to it daily. Spring-time is the most vulnerable time of year for weed outbreaks as not all weeds are preventable. Every lawn - EVERY LAWN, even golf courses - will have weeds in the Spring-time, irrelevant of what was applied to it on previous applications. We treat weeds in lawns all the time because you cannot prevent every weed and still grow a lawn. We do not refund money or credit accounts when the treatment was applied to the lawn. You can't remove the product from the lawn once it is applied to receive a credit or refund.

The reason we started doing business with the Weedman a couple years ago was a promotion for a free lawn aeration. It still has not been done due to their one day notice scheduling policy. They will only give you a one day advance notice for this service. Even though I have talked to them on the phone several times indicating I would like to have more than a day notice. Nothing changes. I also have told them I want to coordinate this service with spreading some black compost on the yard. They don't provide the compost so you need to coordinate that yourself (they indicated they only had some lumpy turkey compost and I should get the compost myself from another source. This morning at 7:10 am we were woken up with the sound of the aeration equipment. Our HOA regulations prohibit services from being performed prior to 8:00 am. I advised the tech to stop the service. He was nice and respectful but said he didn't know about the 8:00 am policy or our interest in getting more than a one day notice. We received an email the day before. Due to a child needing surgery, I was not able to respond to the email, let alone being able to mark the yard for the sprinkler heads, cable and french drain. I did try calling them last night at 7:00 pm but there is no way to contact them outside normal business hours (9-5). The tech called a cell phone at 7:00 am twice but we didn't answer. He went ahead and started the service with the the yard unmarked. Again, their weed service has been good. But for some reason they will not modify their scheduling policy on the lawn aeration. Maybe it is contracted out, I don't know. I have been working with them for several years on this so maybe a negative review will get them to change their scheduling policy. I have yet to check to make sure there is no damage to the sprinkler heads or the french drain. I tried calling them this morning but they don't open up until 9:00 am. Maybe there business hours should match the hours when the services are being performed in case there is any need to reach them.

Sometimes they forget to call me in advance so I can make sure that our dog is confined to the house. Other than that, they do great. What they claim in their advertisements is correct.

After reviewing my estimate and confirming my acceptance, the initial treatment was scheduled to my liking. To this very day, all continues as promised. My entire lawn is a dense, lush green that is virtually free of weeds, fungus, creepers, and pernicious insects, year round. I am 100% pleased with Weed Man and recommend them without qualification. I compared prices, services, and reviews before choosing Austin's Weed Man.  They first came out to evaluate my 18,000 sq. ft. zoysia  lawn to see what was needed to keep me fertilized, weed-free and to control fire ants.  The price Weed Man gave me was less than expected for scheduled lawn treatments and, better yet, included interim resprays at no extra charge, if needed.

After reviewing my estimate and confirming my acceptance, the initial treatment was scheduled to my liking and done as promised.  A week later, I had a second treatment, which is expected to last me till Fall.  Now, 6 weeks after the first treatment, my lawn is lush green and virtually free of weeds and fire ants.  I am 100% pleased with Weed Man and recommend them without qualification.  Thank you, Weed Man!

The techs have been very nice and informative.  The lawn is looking better already.  Will keep posted if anything changes in the future.

I have been using The Weedman for many months and have everything to be completed in a professional manner. They spray for whatever is due seasonal and re spray for emerging weeds whenever called.

This was a renewal of an annual lawn fertilizer and weed control service I used in 2013. They provided 8 treatments during the year. They alerted me each time the day and time of their visit. My yard is noticeably more healthy.

Weed man mowed about 8 acres of pasture that was waist high in weeds. We were very happy with the work and the price.

I bought a Groupon for a free weed treatment. I called to schedule the treatment and Ramsey came out the following day. I asked for a quote for fertilization and weed treatment as we have a large yard and twin toddler boys that take up a lot of our time these days making it difficult for us to keep up with treatments. Our backyard is overrun with weeds and we'd like to reclaim it for grass, so we can use all the help we can get. Ramsey was very knowledgeable and not pushy about signing up for his service. As we have a lot of yard, the Groupon did not cover the full cost of the treatment (which I knew ahead of time) but the price and discounts Ramsey offered were fair. I did see the weeds starting to wilt over the next week so I think the weed treatment is working and hopefully we are doing the right thing for the grass by continuing the fertilization through the summer - drought or not! So far I am happy with the service but will report back as the year wears on and I can hopefully see (or not) some real results.
