They were caring, detail-oriented and professional. They really made me feel like they cared for my mother that passed and our family. The process of dealing with the death of a loved one is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. It was hard to focus on everything that was going on, but I never felt I had to worry about this part. I can't tell you what a blessing that is. The Lake Travis location was beautiful and the staff took care of our every need. I'm not sure they could have done a better job.

They were wonderful and could not have been any better. They were the best on price and presented me with a beautiful tapestry with pictures of my family after the service.

Linda Meek was great to work with. She was very professional and courteous. She provided a nice selection of caskets at reasonable prices, and made recommendations that helped me select a casket that the family was very satisfied with.
Throughout the process, she made suggestions and recommendations that made the service go very smoothly, even though we were on a very short time frame. My brother was an Army veteran, and the military honors required a copy of his discharge papers, which we didn't have. Normally the process of getting these requires several more days than we had, however Linda made a suggestion that worked great, and we were able to get the paperwork to the VA in time for the honors ceremony at the funeral.
On the day of the funeral, Linda had another funeral booked for the same day and wasn't able to be at ours, however she sent two other representatives in her place. The two gentlemen that arrived were very pleasant, professional, and courteous, and put me at ease right away. Two servicemen from Fort Hood Army Base arrived to do the honors ceremony, and they were also extremely professional, yet also very friendly and compassionate.
This is actually the third funeral service I've had to plan during a relatively short period of time. The first two services were for my parents, who lived in San Antonio, so I chose one of the best known and respected San Antonio funeral homes for both of their funerals. Since my brother lived in Austin, i decided to use an Austin funeral home. My wife researched several funeral homes in the area, and Weed-Corley-Fish had by far the best ratings. And they were well-deserved. Although the San Antonio funeral home I had used in the past had done an adequate job, the difference between them and Weed-Corley-Fish was remarkable. Hopefully I won't need to plan any more funerals for a long time, however when I do I'll be sure to use Weed-Corley-Fish, regardless of the location of the deceased, since they can work anywhere.
