We are first-time homebuyers and Chad and his team walked us through the entire process, from preapproval to funding. The on-line preapproval was quick and painless and turned out to be quite accurate. Chad walked me through the process at the beginning, letting us know what to expect. He provided updates throughout the process and was responsive and helpful when we had any questions or concerns. We ended up having an unusually long closing, and he went above and beyond to help us when we had problems, even contacting contractors. He and his team were extremely efficient and professional, while providing the best service possible- I really feel they tried their best to acquire the best rates and loans for us. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family, and would definitely use them again.

We had to come back more times than necessary and there did seem to be some redundancy with the underwriting side of the paperwork which was of no fault to Chad. I would recommend his services to military personnel.

Chad's team assisted me with purchasing my first home. I initially tried to use another lender that was offering to waive some of the associated VA loan fees but the other lender took extremely long to respond to my questions during the initial application phase. Seeing at how difficult communications were already present with this first lender I sought a new one. Based on the many positive reviews I decided to try contacting Chad's team even though at the time they weren't waiving the same fees as the first lender. A smooth stress-free loan transaction without any problems was more important to me than a few fees being waived. I put in a loan application with Chad using his website and the very next morning I received a response and approval. Throughout the whole loan process this extremely quick response to my inquiries was continued by Chad and his staff. During my house hunt I learned it would make more sense for my situation and future plans to go with a conventional home loan combined with the Texas Veterans Housing Assistance Program (VHAP) benefit for a low interest rate instead of a traditional VA loan combined with one of the Texas Veterans benefits. Chad's team handled this change in my financing plans without a hitch or any extra time needed. They were always available to answer any questions I had.

Through the loan process they kept me informed as to what exactly was going on with my loan and at what step I was at. They will email you at every step of the way to let you know the current status of your loan. Chad Bowman and his VA Team with United Lending deal only with VA Home Loans. My husband and I had tried before with another "VA specialist" who didn't even take the time to run our credit. We filled out a fairly simple online form and heard back from them by 5 pm the NEXT DAY! The whole process of getting pre-approved, finding the house and closing on the house took us just under 2 months. Chad and his team (Melissa and Vicki) know what they are talking about, know what you can and cannot do with a VA loan and keep you up to date during the whole process. Chad is a Veteran so he knows what a Veteran has gone through.
We had an issue come up 2 days before we were supposed to close and the Team worked with us and the lender to make sure it all went through without problems. Chad personally came to the closing and made sure that everything that we were signing was understood and that if we had questions we stopped and got them answered. They were able to get us a FANTASTIC rate which allowed for us to get back all of our earnst money, plus some.
