Overcharged for pump - twice as much as retail cost. Still did not work well as problem was with field. Questionable if new pump was needed.

"We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with our quoting. Our pricing is based on market value, warranty, and parts from reputable vendors, not online substitute products which are not equivalent. We must replace parts that will be approved by the manufacture. We are competitive for a licensed and fully insured company. We provide an estimate to ensure the client would like to proceed with the repairs and it is the decision of the client to move forward with the repairs or not. Also, the estimate provided to you was not $ 800.00 , so there may have been a misunderstanding between you, your wife and the representative you spoke with here. Our maintenance contracts do not include unlimited services calls, they include 3 visits per year for routine maintenance. The other issue was that a service call fee was being disputed. We are unable to visit our maintenance contract holder sites at a no charge rate and this is clearly communicated with our clients verbally and in our contract. We do however deduct the service call fee from the final Invoice. Thank you"

I called Vega septic for what may have been the kookiest that they had ever done. I needed them to exhume my horse. He was buried on a friend's land and the land was being sold, and I could not stand the thought of leaving him when my friend was not going to control the property. We had a little scheduling snafu the first time around as they had an auto accident with the trailer. On the second time around, they were right on time. I could not have been more please with the crew they sent. Brian and Christie we up to the job. I was afraid that they might be a little freaked out by what we were doing, but it turned out that Christie had a background in taxidermy and was not the least be squeamish about gathering bones. Brian was a great ecavator driver an they complimented each other well. I did not really want to watch while they were actually working, but my good friend did and said they were being most consciousness and trying to recover everything they could. In short, Vega could not have sent a better crew more oriented to the job.

I used them because of their reputation and the personal interaction with the owner. The owner did the work. I would use them again.
