They treat our pets as though they're their pets. Over the past 18 years, we have had to have 2 dogs put to sleep and 5-6 cats; they cried with us and sent us sympathy cards. They love the pets as though they were their own.  When we go in for an appointment, we are able to go right in with no waiting; sometimes there is a wait if there is an emergency but I'd want them to treat my pet right away if I had an emergency so I understand.

Place is dirty, front desk staff is unprofessional and unorganized.  It took them twenty minutes to find our pets medical records that had been faxed over two days prior and did not apologize to us for the wait. The phone constantly rings so you are interrupted when speaking to them.  Our appointment was at 8am and we left at 8:30am without being seen by the vet.

It went well. Everything moved fast and we didn't have to wait long. They were very consoling to my nervous pets.

We cannot say enough positive things about VCA Tanglewood! They have been our vets for years, thru many Dachshunds and Greyhounds. We have rejoiced and we have cried together. Excellent skill levels and personal service. The staff knows all of our names and go out of their way to help. VCA Tanglewood also helps a number of animal rescues for both dogs and cats.

Dr Streid is a fabulous Vet. His bedside manner is not always warm and fuzzy but he becomes more persnable the more you speak to him. He cares very deeply and wants to provide thorough care. He works closelt with my dog rescue group. He is always concerned about the cost of treatment as well as the overal health of the animal. The staff is wonderful and supportive. I highly recommend Tanglewood Animal Hospital.

We like them. We would probably give them the highest rating across the board. We will use their services again in the future.

Their office was nice; they're timely and the staff is friendly. Dr. Stried isn't a super personable guy, but he was very nice and professional. They did do a great job and I'm happy with the service. They do followup to make sure everything went okay and they referred me to a great surgeon.

The clinic is very clean. The veterinary assistants are very helpful and professional. The veterinarian was very straightforward, however, his bedside manner could be improved.

They are a veterinary hospital so they offer many services there, but what I like the most about them is that the people who work there are all very nice and friendly. They do have boarding kennels.

They are very responsive to any questions I had. They took care of my dog quickly because they knew something was wrong with them. I felt very confident in them and trusted them completely. They offer good discounts for animal foster parents. I'm not sure exactly how much it was and I don't want to overcharge so I would rather not say.

I like this clinic, because it is close to my house. The office is always nice, clean, and the staff is always so caring and genuinely concerned about your pet. The clinic is open late for those people who work late and otherwise would not have a chance to go the vet. I can usually get my dog in for an appointment on the same day.

Dr. Street was concerned that my dog had not eaten, was dehydrated and had a tense stomach. He did the blood work and I heard back next day that all was well. Here is the catch, I received 6 sheets of paper regarding this visit. The first 2 pages said the treatment plan may range from 51-76 dollars, which I had to sign one page and initial the second. Next, I had to do the same thing for the treatment plan that ordered the blood work. The last 2 pages were the bill itself. I felt like a criminal that doesnt pay my bills. And, I think the charges were exceedingly high. When he did a procedure with the dog, he took her out of the room but I could still hear her crying. He was insensitive when I asked why she needed a $29 b-12 injection. I will not return with any of my 3 dogs to this clinic.

We have used VCA Tanglewood for our dogs for the last eight years. All of our dogs have been of a breed known for high maintenance due to many different physical problems. We have been through several surgeries and various conditions, and have trusted this veterinarian to do what is best for our dogs. We have never been disappointed. Each time we take our dogs in, they are treated with the respect we would expect to be given to a member of our family. They are acknowledged by the staff, greeted by name, and gently cared for. The hospital is immaculately clean, fully equipped, and up to date. The staff is always bright and concerned. Dr Stried does not hesitate to refer us to other veterinarians if he feels that our dogs need specialized expertise. We respect that this hospital is highly involved in humanitarian aid for rescue animals which indicates to us that their main concern is for animals.

I have used them for the last 5 or 6 years and I wouldn't use anyone else. I liked them because they really cared for the animals there. They took the time to get to know my dog personally and were familiar with all of the pets by name. They had a great staff.

THE VET CONTINUED TO CHARGE FOR VISITS WITHOUT A PROPER DIAGNOSIS. I WAS CHARGED FOR SEVERAL EAR CLEANINGS AND MEDICINE THAT DID NOT WORK. AFTER BEING FIRM WITH MY VET I WAS THEN GIVEN THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS AND THE COSTS WENT DOWN. HER BLOOD WORK CAME BACK BETTER THIS TIME, BUT AM STILL LOOKING TO CHANGE VETS AFTER THIS LONG EXPENSIVE, EXPERIENCE.
