Totally Cool aka City Conservation

I have totally cool put in new duct work and fix my air confirming unit in the attic and now does it work excellent now! The men were very professional and hard workers. I would recommend these guys 100%!

Great as usual. This the fourth system they've put in for me including three at the prior house. Always on time, professional, courteous knowledgeable and no surprise pricing. Customer for life.

I have know for a while that one of my AC systems (heat pump) was on its last leg. However, I managed to get through the summers of 2017 and 2018 with some minor maintenance and tune ups. In 2018, I reached out to Totally Cool and 2 others to solicit quotes. Charlie came out and walked me through ideas and options and we settled on a new system, However, wanting to defer the expense as long as possible I was still able to get through 2018 without issue. Not so much in 2019 as the system died. I immediately reached out to Shelley (May 27) and apprised her of the situation. They mentioned getting to me in a couple of weeks but upon explaining that the old systems was dead they were able to work with their schedule and get me scheduled for May 30 (thank goodness). Given that it had been a year there was a snafu upon arrival due to the air handler no longer fitting the small upstairs closet of my old system. In little over an hour they had identified a another unit and had it onsite. This new unit was more expensive (about $1300) but they honored the original price. I know this was a better unit (more expensive one) because it was quoted to me from one of the other companies in 2018. They were finished by 2 pm despite the snafu and all is going well now. Thank you to Shelley and Nolan (and his installation crew) for stepping up to handle this situation without issue or delay.

It was so comfortable having this crew around. They were so professional, showed up on time. Came out twice after the job was done to fine tune the thermostat to my husband's liking. Also they work with the City of Austin to get the most rebates possible for us. $1620.41 back in our pockets!

The repair man was courteous, prompt, thorough, answered my many questions, provided a checklist of what was being inspected and finished quickly.  He brought all his tools including a ladder to inspect the cooler unit on the 2nd floor roof.  We decided to get the three year contract  for two inspections a year with priority scheduling.  That option also lowered the price per visit.  The final contract was completed and mailed to us.  Although we couldn't use any of the on-line coupons, we were happy with the service and the price.

We were given a block of time when Totally Cool would arrive and they arrived in that block.  We also decided to take out a two year contract with them to check our cooling and heating regularly so the price of 79 is what it would cost if we had not taken out the contract.  We did save a bit of money doing this.   The was the company our landlord used in a rental in Tarrytown.

We called Totally Cool yesterday morning to see if theycould take a look at our AC unit that inexplicably stopped working. They were able to have a technician (Anthony) out to us by the afternoon. Anthony was very efficient and went out of his way to make sure he was comfortable with his diagnosis of the problem. He then spent time with me going over what was wrong (blown fuse in the unit) and what I need to do to prevent it from happening in the future. I really appreciated him talking me through everything and sometimes repeating himself without sounding condescending. I highly recommend them and I will be asking for Anthony again!

When our furnace started acting up again, we decided it was time to get it fixed. We called Totally Cool City Conservation in the morning. The woman on the phone was very nice. She took down our contact information and let us know someone could be here to check out our furnace in the afternoon. She also called to give us a heads-up about 30 minutes in advance of Anthony's arrival early in the afternoon.
Anthony was very professional and thorough. He cleaned several parts of the furnace that may have been causing the problem and checked many other pieces, including finding and fixing a small gas leak. He tested the on-off cycle of the furnace many times to make sure it was working before he left. He was very thorough in explaining his diagnosis, and we were only billed for  a "Fall check up" service call. We are VERY happy with Totally Cool City Conservation.

When I called for service they were very responsive to get me an appointment. The service man sHowed up on time, was very courteous and efficient.

I have been using them for years. They are great. They are always able to come at the last minute if I have an emergency.

Work performed as indicated and for quoted price.  The only criticism is that the technician missed the time period when he was supposed to be at the house and did not call; when my husband had to leave to deal with other issues (several hours after expected time), I called and was told the technician had car trouble but was finally on his way.   Technician should have called & advised us of the problem rather than have us wait all day for him.  However, this was a minor problem and overall this was a very good experience.  Will definitely use company again.

We had two heaters in two baths removed by another company and they installed vent fans; however, we were told we had to call a HVAC company to put in the vents.  City Conservation came out and gave a quote and returned at our convenience to install venting.  They had to cut a larger hole and reinforce the fan in the attic and then installed the vent tube.  Then they cut a hole in the side of the house and installed the two vents.  They did all of this in less than an hour.

They arrived 1/2 hour late but that was OK.  The two men were friendly and professional and we would certainly use this company again.

The technician showed up ready to work.  He was on time and explained everything thoroughly to me.  This is not the 1st company I called.  The 1st company simply said my coil was plugged up & rusting and they suggested I just replace that part for $1,840.  I have had no trouble since City Conservation came out.  The technicians name was Anthony & he was great.  I even got to use my Angie's List 10% coupon to save $40.

Overall they came when they said they would did only what needed to be done.

Our experience with City was positive. No complaints and I'm picky.

They are great, super and amazing. They are incredible. They are great people and very professional. It was very easy to get them out.

They did not fulfill their contractual obligations.He said there was a leak but he never officially checked them. They told me that I told them not to check it, which isn't true at all. When I asked him about the leak in the attic, he said he was only here to do the spring maintenance. So he never opened the unit and completed the job. It has not been a good experience and I may take legal action against them. I will never use them again.

They did a great job and stayed within their estimated price. They set everything up with the city and were always on time. Additionally, they let me know about a rebate I wasn't aware of which saved me an additional $1075. Great service and work all around

They were really good. I rate them high. The owner himself came to do the work and check the situation. They had to come back after installing to make sure the system was working. They were easy to get a hold on. They were here at the time they specified.

It went excellently. They were professional and had a good price.
